Selena Gomez NEO Adidas Sweatshop?
In NYC on Wednesday evening Selena Gomez was in the front row at the first-ever fashion show for NEO by Adidas, for whom she serves as brand ambassador. In the middle of the event, n uninvited young woman in a T-shirt and hoodie handed Selena and other guests a flyer, with a companion nearby also distributing the material.
Claiming that Adidas is involved in 'sweatshop' labor practices overseas, the flyer read: 'Selena Gomez: Be an ambassador for children, not for sweatshops.' Selena was shocked by the protester, who was quickly escorted off the premises by security.
Selena said: 'Thank you so much for coming out. I'm so excited to be a part of this and so excited to see what you guys did with it, you did an amazing job!' Hopefully it is NOT true because it would be sad to take money from a company that uses sweatshops.

LOL everyone knows that Adidas and Nike use sweatshops almost exclusively. Look it up. When celebrities endorse something like this and then go and pretend to care so much about poverty, it really makes them look foolish. I expected more from Selena especially though.

She's a Unicef ambassador. She really should be aware of sweatshops. I learned about that when I was 15. Why would you endorse this just for a cheque? This confuses me.

Adidas has no problem with child workers. Their problem is with a closed factory in Indonesia where they have no paid all the debts to employees.

first this is a serious issue so to the haters grow up.she's just an spokes woman for the shoe in question. Second she or her managers should have done research to check if Adidas use minors or cheap labor. Third those protesters should also protest wal-mart,Nike,max Azria, reebok and all those Hollywood companies who make fashion dresses for the use of children and immigrants for cheap labor. I don't blame her for these even if she helps with the design. But she should leave the campaign because she's an UNICEF ambassador. It wounding look good in the eyes of children.

Selena is a robot. People control her entire career. Every decision she makes is because her management is telling her too. It's obvious. You can tell whebn artist have the reins in their career (Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lawernce, Katy Perry) and Selena isn't one of them.
