That "person" who spread that story was David his male stalker in NYC. David and several other NYC fans (the ones that have pics with Joe and Nick all the time) got pictures with them and then David later tracked him down & waited outside of the restaurant where he was eating. Joe politely told them he was out with friends and declined a photo. He didn't make fun of anyone and it wasn't a snub. He had already taken two other photos with him that same day. This was all verified by other who were there and blown way out of proportion by one person who reported a half-true story to a gossip site.
Sorry, but there is no excuse for a fan who continually stalks Joe and Nick. They don't need to wait outside Nick's apartment, follow them as they walk down the street, follow them to the coffee shop...the grocery store. It's ridiculous. They can't and shouldn't stop every time for a photo with the same people everytime they are in NYC.
It's different to wait for them outside an event or appearance. But waiting for them outside where they live and following them on their "personal" time is wrong.
