Via BlindGossip: This young performer has a dilemma on his hands. And he has not been keeping up his end of the publicity–making for his project. So his management team has a plan: They want him to propose to his girlfriend. Now, management already knows that he has no intention of actually marrying the girl. They don’t care about that. They just want all the attention that goes along with a beautiful young couple in love! One thing is for sure:
They know that the fans will cling to every detail of the proposal, the ring, the engagement, the dress, the wedding song, etc. over the next year. And lots of attention from teen girls is what powers the popularity of young performers! The performer, and his girlfriend, both know this, and they are now arguing over what to do. She is in favor of it, but he is hesitating.
By the way, this isn’t a new stunt. They proposed the same thing last year, but the performer balked just a few days before it was supposed to happen. It will be interesting to see if he goes through with it this time. You’ll know that things are moving in that direction if there is a significant uptick in chatter about their relationship over the next few weeks.

I don't see this as Liam and Danielle. The girl cannot be that desperate as to agree to such garbage. Louis and Eleanor seem to have the most stable relationship, but I would find it incredibly stupid for them to do it. This management sounds insane. Whoever it's for, this is a dumb idea, what a shame they're willing to exploit their artists for such stupid reasons.

Does make you wonder though how many dates and relationships etc are made up purely for the publicity to keep a particular celebrity in the news. Kind of sad and makes us question every happy couple.

For those of you who are not familiarwith blindgossip, this story is linked to two other stories from earlier: http://blindgossip.com/?p=47888. And http://blindgossip.com/?p=47954. Basically, if lou and el gets engaged ( i think it's them anyway) it confirms that the relationship is fake and that lou is gay. It says clearly in this article as well: he has no intentions of marrying the girl. I really hope he doesn't go through with it though

Liam and Danielle. Because the post is obviously about 1D, but the originally title said "Publicity Proposal Pending" That's a lot of P's and everything counts when it comes to blind gossip. And Louis' whole relationship is publicity so there is no publicity deficit on his part, but we rarely hear about Liam.
First of all I think its dumb with both couples. I get they are in love but getting engaged is too much. Both couples are way too young.Get engaged because your ready to take that next step not for publicity. Thats so sick.
