That's a bit harsh, but it is kind of true. Selena needs to grow up and begin finding new producers and labels if she EVER wants to be relevant and taken seriously.

I just get soooo sick of Selena and how she keeps talking like her next album will be so different and good and yet it's being made last minute and she's already set the month release for it and she's still in the mid stages of recording. Ok so you don't like her and from the sounds of it it wouldn't matter what she did. Yes Selena is still working on the album but it is far from rushed. Recent situations have made for new things she wants to say on the album. She has 18+ songs already cued and will be choosing from them. Saying she has not talent, personality or the ability to captivate is subjective. Selena has a large fanbase and those are who she cares most about and tries to entertain. Haters are just icing for her because they seem to love her as much as her fans with how much time they spend ragging about her.

She was in two Disney channel movies both had absolutely nothing to do with music. She did have pre album disney singing credits though but none as big as the Hannah Montana or Camp Rock platforms. But her show did start beating HM in ratings before HM went off and The Womp movie got bigger ratings than Camp Rock. It's the second highest rated TV movie in tv history behind high school musical 2. She even got paid more than Miley and Demi after Womp won its 1st of three Emmys . So did Selena really get the platform Disney popstar raising ? No but she was somewhat propelled in to success though Disney , even though never treated Wowp as its hottest product , when it kinda was.

She made millions of dollars for Disney . Like most young superstars Miley was terribly over exposed . Disney marketed HM concert movies and feature films based off the character making Miley Cyrus a name everyone knew. Eventually the media started to leak racy pictures of her and critize her every move. She than wanted to leave her HM life behind at started to do more adult things at the age of 17. Her departure with Disney ultimately lead to the fall of her mainstream career and Disney career. Her album flopped and so did the sells of the final HM album. Her Tv show also took a very big dip in ratings. A regular episode of the suite life on deck that came on after the HM finale got huger ratings than the actual finale. Miley is in desperate need of a comeback. Demi and Selena never really went as far she did and they have yet to fall.
