Rowan Blanchard Girl Meets World Role
Rowan Blanchard, 11, will play Riley Mathews the daughter of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) in the Disney Channel spin-off of Boy Meets World, titled Girl Meets World, repots EW. She has been in Spy Kids: All the Time in World in 4D and The Back-up Plan.
Michael Jacobs: 'As soon as Rowan walked into the room, I was reminded of why Ben Savage was loved as Cory Matthews. Rowan is real and accessible and I am hopeful this girl is about to meet a world that will love growing up with her as well.' The pilot for Girl Meets World is set to begin production next month and if greelighted will hit Disney Channel’s 2013-14 schedule.

So Ben and Danielle are actually coming back to play their old characters? For real? I'm not sure how I feel about this, I can hardly remember this show as it is, I personally don't feel the need for a spin-off, is it really that hard to come up with something new? :/

I would like it if this would air on ABC or ABC Family. I feel with Disney Channel it'll be watered down, not go into serious issues the original BMW did and and make the original lose some of its touch.

I was watching the original Boy Meets World on MTV2 and my little sister was in the room and I asked if she remembered that show when they aired it on Disney Channel and she said no since she was like 3-4 then
So... I think my sister would probably watch this since she's 11 now.
