They shouldn't be compared. Miley is an artist, and Selena is not. But at the same time Selena slays Miley with her acting talents. Miley is an artist, who acts. Selena is an actress, who sings. Yeah, I agree with the above comment, someone who does professional singing should be able to sing live. No matter how much studying you do, if you can't perform basic surgeries you should not be a doctor.

Couldn't agree more! Selena is great at acting, but honestly, she can't sing, which is why I have no clue why she's still trying. It could be a lot better to her if she just acted, because instead of wasting time recording and performing, she could be doing some damn good movies and being recognized for it. I'll tell you, anyone can do a CD in Hollywood, as long as the songs have good rhythm and addictive lyrics. But few are those who can truly sing. HWR doesn't pay for Gold certification for singles. They just pay for it if the single goes Platinum

The label has to pay to get the certification plate and HWR usually don't do that.

They usually pay for platinum certications. But since that Miley left them...Dont think they will pay certifications for her anymore.
