Samantha Barks Susan Boyle Holiday Film
Les Misérables' Samantha Barks will star opposite Susan Boyle in upcoming British yuletide movie The Christmas Candle, according to the BBC News. This marks the film debut for Boyle, whose role has yet to be announced. Barks and the rest of the cast have already begun filming in the UK.
Based on a novella by preacher and author Max Lucado, The Christmas Candle takes place in an English village in 1890s, where blessed candles throughout the village begin to answer its residents' prayers.
