Ariana Grande explained via Twitter that she was not joking about getting a weave and getting rid of her ponytail. She revealed that she needed a weave because it was damaged from constantly dying her hair red for 5 years for her role as Cat in Victorious.

She also said jokingly that she may bring back and ‘resurrect’ her ponytail faster than Jesus! Do YOU want Ariana to keep her long weave down or should she get her ponytail back?

    Rich White Girl Problems.

    • anonymous

      racist!!!!!!

sorry had to protect the white people

      • Zaina777

        Racist!!!!!!
Sorry had to protect the black people.

        • anonymous

no you’re just being racist again

          • Zaina777

No, I am not racist at all. It’s called don’t damage your hair and don’t dye it constantly. Also only black people use the term weave where as white people say extenstions. She chose to call it a weave.

Also, dude take a joke. You are the only one here crying racism here nobody else is. Nobody don’t needs your protection here. Maybe if you read properly and learned how to take a fucking joke you would find it funny. You should really stop trying to cause irrelavant shit.If anyone is racist here it’s you brooooo

          • anonymous

you were making a joke about racial division. sorry you’re racist :(

          • Zaina777

How was it Racial Division? You are an idiot. I said rich white girl problems because she is a rich white girl who always talks on twitter about random stuff that really isn’t worth mentioning. She got a weave like last week. If she doesn’t like it she can just remove it and get on with her life. There are some people who don’t even have as much hair as she does and she damages it and gets weaves. She is spoiled. She could have just gotten it or gotten extensions and no one would even know. It’s not that big of a deal.

The fact that you are saying I am racist is beyone ridiculous. White people don’t need your protection and neiher does anoyone else. You are the racist one for accusing me of being racist over some silly jokes. You wanna learn about racsim then go into the history books and read about slaves, white supremacy and other people getting killed over the color they were.

I made a simple joke about her being spoiled and then you think you can call me racist? No , you can’t. Ariana Grande is a spolied rich white girl just like Miley, and all of those other girls Oh, and believe me there are some spoiled rich black girls, spoiled rich hispanics and spolied rich middle eastern girls and so on. I would have called all of them out if they were fake and spolied just like Ariana is

            Sit the fuck down.

          • anonymous

why say she was white then? why not say ‘rich girl problems’?

          • Zaina777

To the general public she is white or italian. I can’t say italian girl problems do you know why? Not every italian girl is like that.

Maybe I shouldn’t have said white but you know what that was no excuse what so ever for you to call me a racist alot of people inlcuding white people say Rich White Girl Problems.

You clearly dont know what racism is. So maybe you should learn the meaning of the word and the context in it before you go accusing people of being racist.

          • anonymous

there aren’t actually black slaves anymore in America so you can’t really be anxious about that

if you create a racial divide by specifically saying she’s ‘white’ when you are criticizing her then you are singling out white people negatively, and so being racist

before you said it i never heard about ‘rich white girl problems’

          • Zaina777

That’s your own fault though that you’ve never heard about that saying before. I said RICH WHITE GIRLS not rich white people. You are so ignorant it’s not even funny blacks get and got alot more hate than whites as do other races as well. I am saying that there were black people who were slaves back then and even now they are still targeted not as slaves but on a whole other level of racism though like bring called thugs and shit when they aren’t.
Stop trying to act all high and mighty with your shit about racism, kiddo.

          • anonymous

large groups of white people have similar abuse. you’re just obsessed with the idea that black people are some special case so you can then defend yourself while at the same time using racist comments towards ‘white’ people

          • Zaina777

What? I am pretty sure if you are actually gonna compare the too whites suffer a whole lot less in comparsion to blacks. You are the ones who started this by claiming that I was being racist oto white people because I spoke the ruth about her. Sweetie, if anyone is obsessed with this it is you.

          • anonymous

how are you comparing exactly? there have always been more ‘white’ people being abused in america because ‘black’ people have always been less than 15% of the population

          • Zaina777

Are you serious! Get outside right now and look around. You are really ignorant!

          • anonymous

what am i supposed to see?

          • Zaina777

            Reality.

          • anonymous

            hahaha

          • Zaina777

            Hilarious.

          • anonymous

you just need to stop listening to racist propaganda and live a happy racism-free life

          • Zaina777

Says the person who called me out instead of taking a joke. I am not racist!

          • anonymous

but you were racist and it’s not an acceptable joke

          • Zaina777

I am pretty sure you took it as racist and you said much worse! So what you are saying is what I just said is equal to me saying Cracker…or Pasty face bitches…..It’s not even remotely the same. Go ahead say something about black people in the same way. I don’t give a damn becauseII am not sensitive about all of this nonsense like you and other people!

          • anonymous

except you are sensitive to it because you gave me a long speech about how i don’t understand racism and the history of slavery etc

when young ‘white’ women are growing up they are actually very susceptible to people saying they are ‘too white’. so looks like you need a lesson and to ‘go outside’ in the ‘real world’

          • Zaina777

Nope. You called me racist so I said I am not and I spoke the truth.

          • laura

I’m white and she’s not being racist at all. It’s just this thing that people say about whiney white rich bitches.
Though, inequality is everywhere and black people aren’t the only one who have suffered or still are suffering. But you shouldn’t have called her racist, because she is not.

          • Zaina777

Exactly, she is making a big deal out of nothing. I am not racist nor will I ever be. I believe everyone should be treated equal and alike! World Peace is the greatest medicne that the world needs right now.

          • laura

            I know, don’t worry :)
She’s just trying to make a fight when nothing really happened..

          • anonymous

            :'(

          • laura

            Seriously, you are.
You’re making a big deal out of this when you shouldn’t. She’s not being racist and never intended to hurt anyone so we should all just move on.

          • Zaina777

            Gurl, you know it!

          • laura

            Haha but seriously though..
I mean, yeah maybe you should’ve left out the white part but ugh it’s not like you meant to hurt anyone or were like ‘eww white people, they make me vomit’. There’s a big difference..

          • Zaina777

A lot of my friends are white. I love all people….some people these days.

          • anon

“not every italian girl is like that” – but every white girl is? sounds pretty racist to me. a lot of white people say rich girl problems? …well a lot of black people say “nigga” doesn’t make it ok for white people to say it though-does it?

          • Zaina777

Who said anything about nigga! You are an idiot. I agree no one should say the words nigga but we weren’t talking about that were we. Italians also have sterotypes and sayings but this isn’t one. Where as some Rich white girls act like this alot of the time hence the stereotypes and sayings about them.

          • anon

nigga was just an example because you aparantly thought it was ok to say rich white girl since a lot of (white) people do the same. but a lot of black people saying “nigga” or gay people saying “fag” doesn’t make it ok to say things like that. this is why i hate stereotypes! the fact that some people think it’s ok to say stuff like “rich white girl” even though there are just as many rich black, italian, latino or asian girls that act this way too.

          • laura

When do gay people say fag? Gee that’s a first..
They used to call black slaves ‘nigga’ so I can definitely understand why they wouldn’t want white people to call them ‘nigga’
I honestly think you’re making too big of a deal about this and should just let it go. She didn’t mean to offend anyone.

          • Zaina777

            I agree!

          • anon

a lot of my gay friends call themselfs a “fag” jokingly. i get why balck people don’t want to be called nigga by white people. i’m just trying to make a point that discriminating white people is just as racist as discriminating black people and saying ” rich wihte girls” is just not ok imo , even if some white people say it, because not every (rich) white girl acts that way, it’s just another annoying stereotype

          • Zaina777

Not if it was intended to be a joke that the general public gets.

          • anoni

bet you wouldn’t find a joke about black people “that the general public gets” funny

          • Zaina777

If it was at the same level as my joke no I wouldn’t care. However, if it was much worse of course I would care, obviously.

          • laura

            Probably an American thing then.
Those stereotypes aren’t meant to hurt and tbh I think it’s quite hilarious. From time to time we need to be able to laugh at things like that. If we wouldn’t, comedians wouldn’t have a job…

          • anon

i just want people to understand that even though those things aren’t meant to be hurtful, they may hurt some people so you just shouldn’t say them

          • laura

And I want you to understand that we shouldn’t always take things seriously and should be able to laugh with ourselves.
If you are against stereotypes, you couldn’t watch a single comedy movie or ever go watch a comedian.
Life’s already too serious at times so it can never hurt to lighten up a little.

          • anon

iguess we’ll just have to agree to disagree then

          • anonymous

you mean you’re a lazy racist too

            *shaking and crying*

          • laura

What are you implying? That I’m racist towards white people as well when I am white?
Or that I’m racist towards anyone who has a darker skintone? I think I’ve made it very clear, multiple times, that I’m not. I grew up in a multicultural neighbourhood, if I were racist, I would’ve moved by now.

          • anonymous

a person can be racist towards their own race. you need to do what the other one suggested and read about history and ‘go outside into the real world’

            :'(

          • anonymous

fag is a strong insult. maybe it isn’t popular in your country

          • laura

I didn’t mean it like that. In my country there’s definitely people who insult gays and yes they use a different word. They say ‘janet’ but I’ve never heard homosexuals call each other that.
That’s why I said it’s probably an American thing.

          • anon

i’m actually german and here they say”schwuchtel” which means fag… so i guess it’s not an american thing lol

          • laura

But do homosexuals say it to each other? I’ve seriously never heard homosexuals calling each other ‘fags’ in Belgium.

          • anon

to each other or when they’re talking about themselfs… like “i’m being such a fag today” or ” hi fag” … but we just have a weird sense of humor. my girlfriends and i sometimes greet each other with “hey slut” or “hi bitch” :D

          • laura

Really? They don’t say that at all in Belgium which is so weird since our countries are so close :o
Sometimes they do say they’re gay though but they’ll never say janet, ever.

          • anon

it’s not a big deal if another gay person says that or a friend thats just joking… because of our countries history there’s actually very little discrimination here today and the justice system is very strict when it comes to that. gays have a lot more right here than they do in other countries and they’re a lot more socially accepted… so i gues it’s just not such a big deal where i live so people joke about it a lot more

          • laura

Oh well here we’re very accepting as well though. I mean, we were the second country to legalize gay marriage so that says enough haha
It just baffles me how in German gays call each other gay while in Belgium they don’t and we actually live so close :)

          • anon

            yeah… i guess it’s just a different sense of humor ;)

          • laura

Germans have always been more outspoken than Belgians so it probably has to do with that as well haha

          • Zaina777

Rich White girls are known to do it more though!

          • anonymous

WOAH that is SO RACIST!!!! and I’m not even joking

          • Zaina777
          • anonymous

you just referenced a ‘black’ writer being racist! LOL

          • laura

That was a pretty good description of the average teenage girl though..

          • Zaina777
          • anonymous

that twitter account had like 600 followers!?!!

two wrongs don’t make a right

          • Zaina777

            Look who is talking.

          • anon

i’m a white girl and only match two of those points, my friend is black and fits almost all of those, what does that say about us?

          • Zaina777

Well I guess everyones different then…or you could be lying.

          • anon

i’m as white as it gets (pale, blond hair and all that jazz) but i also grew up in the country so no starbucks for me and i was more of a tomboy so dresses heels uggs and stupid tv shows are just ridiculous to me… my friend is from the city though. so i guess i’m just a freak like that (i’m 18 and have never watched the notebook or titanic lol)

          • anna

            WTF?

          • Zaina777

            Pardon me?

          • laura

There’s actually a big difference between a weave and extensions though. Many celebrities prefer weaves over extensions because it’s not so damaging for your hair.

          • Zaina777

Yeah but genereally speaking nonblacks don’t tend to get weaves where as blacks do.

          • laura

Oh yeah that’s true, definitely not denying that. But I’m pretty sure she got a weave because it’s not so damaging for your hair. But if she didn’t, then idk it’s pretty dumb of her to say that..

          • Zaina777

It’s her own fault for damaging her own hair. I get that she is on a televison show portraying a continuation of a character but she should have let that character go along time ago if she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress and singer and more importantly help her hair.

          • laura

What I don’t get is, that she didn’t just dye her hair with hair dye that doesn’t have all those bad chemicals in it. My mom does it too and her hair isn’t damaged at all..
            Celebrities these days, smh.

          • Zaina777

Exactly, She did it to herself now she is like I got my weave did and now it sucks. She seems like an attention seeker to be honest when it comes to little itty biitty things like this. Remember when she said she didn’t know who Adrain Grenier was and then someone on this site showed found a picture of them together with another girl. She is really fake. I don’t hate her because I don’t know her but the girl is so fake.

          • laura

Honestly, I barely know anything about her :p I just have her album and I kind of like it and that’s all I care about.
I feel like I’m always missing out on everything just because all those American celebrities aren’t very well known in my country haha

          • Zaina777

I actualy love her voice and thinks she is gorgeous but she still seems fake. Therefore. I don’t like her at all as a person.

          • laura

She’s a great singer, indeed and I just think she’s really cute :) I don’t even know what she’s like because, like I said, I barely know anything about her. That’s why I’m on this site, to actually know something about celebrities haha

          • Zaina777

I have her album too. Tattooed Heart is the most beautiful song on there I love Piano and Daydreaming as well.

          • laura

OMG those are my favourite songs on the album! And Honeymoon Avenue, that one is great as well!

          • in jesus name i pray amen

lol just gonna throw in my two cents, even tho im not joining this fight by anymeans…

“don’t damage your hair and don’t dye it constantly.” – she had to for the role of Cat in Victorious lol.

          • Zaina777

            Bitch What did you say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lmfao, Just Kidding. She should have left the role when Victorious got cancelled.

          • in jesus name i pray amen

She did! hahah then joined Cat & Sam lolol… foolish rookie mistake. I think that she was holding onto it for her dear life, because she wasn’t sure if she was going to make it in the big leagues with music — THANK GOD SHE DID.

    • in jesus name i pray amen

okay can you guys chill the FUCK out omg, it was obviously a joke….! No need to fight over it.

      • anonymous

        :'{(

        • in jesus name i pray amen

it’s kind of like the twitter @whitegirlproblems… OBVIOUSLY the girl is not intending to be racist. It’s just to be like a ‘rolling my eyes’ sort of deal, to poke fun at the nature of that complaint. White Girl Problems is obviously not intentionally being racist with the point of hurting someone’s feelings, but rather poking fun at a stereotype. Do you honestly think that’s a black girl behind that twitter trying to humiliate white girls? It’s just a simple joke… lighten up bb boo!

          • Zaina777

            OMG! Finally! Praise the lord!

          • anonymous

            stop justifying her racism

            i don’t like you

          • Zaina777

As if you are never racist! Alot of them like you either including me…you know what not everyone has to like you though. Get the fuck over it. Look at the comment that you are so butthurt over look at how mant people liked it. They all know how to take a joke. Wow, you must be so fun at parties.

          • anonymous

they are all being polite and ignoring your racism

          • Zaina777

Oh, I’m sure that’s why you have like one person defending you and like seven defending me.

          • anonymous

it’s not about the numbers :'(

remember ‘black’ people were a minority and that helped support slavery

you need to read a book and go outside into reality :|

          • Zaina777

So that makes it right? You are really ignorant!

          • Anon

Don’t listen to that person, they’re obviously just bored and stupid and have nothing productive to do in their life.

          • Zaina777

            They are just shit starters.

          • anonymous

            you’re racist

          • Zaina777

            No, you are.

          • anonymous

            now you’re lying too!

          • Zaina777

Nope…I am not racist but you like to play the victim and claim that you aren’t a racist at all.

          • anonymous

            i’ve never said anything racist

          • Zaina777

            Yes you did, victim.

          • anonymous

now you’re belittling me because i’m standing up against your racism

          • Zaina777

No, because you are doing it the wrong way completely…and you are playing the victim.

          • Marina And My Diamonds

Bitch I would belittle your ass too will you shut up, fuck it was a joke. A JOKE, shut up!

          • anonymous

            what… because I’m ‘WHITE’?

          • Zaina777

No not because you are white..becasue you are an ignoramous. You do know that you made yourself seem racist with that statement right?

          • anonymous

            oh here we go again!

I think the intention of the video is everything. If you take offense from it, you need to lighten the fuck up and stop taking life so seriously. im out of this ridiculous debate of your guys’s

          • anonymous

            lighten up about RACISM?!

          • in jesus name i pray amen

lighten up about LIFE. The intention is what you should be analyzing the fuck out of, which clearly the intention of the ‘racist’ remark was light hearted and to poke fun at the remark Ariana said. chill out.

          • Zaina777

I love those…omgggg Shaquisha, I have the perfect guy for you he’s black like you…

          • anonymous

that’s because you’re addicted with feeling racially abused. you should see a therapist

          • in jesus name i pray amen

you need to get off the internet if youre going to take offense from something so futile. You need to see a therapist because youre making this entire situation about you, and you’re victimizing yourself for no reason, bye

          • Zaina777

I know right. She thinks she is being some kind of hero for standing up to a silly joke.. The girl has issues.

          • anonymous

you’re just polluting the argument to feel good. you should leave the internet and feel good some other way

          • Zaina777

No you polluted it already with your input. She is speaking the truth.

          • anonymous

no she’s saying what you want to hear. very different

          • Zaina777

No…..you said that I was a rascist. I said that I’m not. She said exactly what I thought when I was writing that post in her explanation of why she thought I wrote it. Just because not everyone agrees with you doesn’t mean that they are rascist or wrong.. You are taking this way too far now. It was a joke get the fuck over it and move on with your life. Stop being so so butthurt over a damn joke.

          • anonymous

so only making a few racist comments are OK? do we have a safe limit?

          • Zaina777

            It was one bro.

          • anonymous

so every ‘white’ person is allowed to make one racist joke? is that per day?

          • Zaina777

Nope. You made this whole thing about racism when it wasn’t to begin with and are acting like you are a saint. I highly doubt you are nor are you a victim in any of this.

          • anonymous

that’s because it is racist. and i’m just as much a victim as you are of any racist joke towards a ‘black’ person

          • Zaina777

Except the difference between you and I is that I don’t get butthurt over a silly joke…if it is true then it is true. Deal with it. Unless you are are rich white girl then I don’t see where you concern should be regarding my comment on this site that you are also on commenting about. Not every white person is the same and not every black person is the same.

          • anonymous

it might be a joke to you but it’s racism to me

          • Zaina777

Well then that’s your perogative. Not everyone sees things the way that you do. That’s life. Deal with it.

          • anonymous

:O tell that to the ‘black’ people that can’t ‘take a joke’

            you’re so extreme!

          • Zaina777

No, I was willing to end this arguement long ago so whatever I am cool with it. You on the other hand ar the extreme one.

You are stereotyping all black people. Racist.

Also, why they fuck did you put quotations around “black” people. Are you insinuating something here? Are you a racist?

          • anonymous

because no one is ACTUALLY any of these colors

            you’re just stupid

          • Zaina777

You must have some kind of issue with yourself. So I am not going to enable you any longer.

          • anonymous

good i’m bored too. i’m happy we concluded that there is no free racist joke limit

          • Zaina777

Whatever, bro. Thanks for geting me higher to getting on Oceanup’s top comenters board.

          • Zaina777

Nope I am perfectely sane. Unlike you I don’t generalize all black people as one race all the same in every way, shape or form like you do. I can also take a joke evidently you can not. Get a fucking life, kiddo

          • anonymous

yawn. you know you were being racist

          • Zaina777

No…someone commented my exact intentions of that post.

  • Oops

She complains about everything. Can’t help but feel like she’s stuck up

  • Queen Amanda Bynes

I said multiple times her hair was like this because she damaged it

    • in jesus name i pray amen

SAME. Also this solidifies that she had to use clip in extensions for her ponytail up-do and the reason why she did it like that was to hide the clips. A weave is hidden by weaving the hair into the scalp lol, which is why she can wear it down easily.

      • Queen Amanda Bynes

yes exactaly what she was doing. i wonder how short it is,she must have cut it really short if she cant wear it

  • Queen Amanda Bynes

honestly i dont care if her hair is short, im a fan because of her music not her hair.

    • in jesus name i pray amen

this tbqh, but I do love her long luscious locks! (even tho they aren’t really hers lolololol)

      • Queen Amanda Bynes

lol me too, i love her as a blonde too, or redish.she can do no wrong withhair color

  • lol

    she is so annoying.

  • Cici

She is getting on my nerves with her hair. Just make up your mind already. Nobody cares that much…it’s obviously a big insecurity of hers. Just cut it off & grow back out long & healthier.

    • in jesus name i pray amen

I think people REALLY cared, which is what pressured her in the first place to change it up lol. She got so much hate for it!

      • Cici

Yeah…but why hide behind a pony tail?

      • Silver

I wouldn’t go as far as to say so much hate though…

  • anon

Unbeweaveable! Eh so she made mistakes regarding her hair. someone who knew better should have advised her but there’s no one on her team who has a clue so…Ponytail is bad for hair also..Ariana needs an good hair person who will help her nurture her hair back to health and toward a more natural state.
For those of you bitching about what she’s tweeting…she has a variety of things she tweets about that teen girls would be interested in and some that they aren’t interested in. She doesn’t come across as perfect which everyone can relate. If Ariana did everything like Martha Stewart perfect, many would be bitching about how she’s too perfect and can’t relate.

    • in jesus name i pray amen

ponytails help grow your hair, because it is pulled back it promotes hair growth because it is pulling at the hair follicles. Same with a bun. Which is why I think she was doing just that — in addition to hiding her extensions under it.

      http://awesomegifs.com/wp-content/uploads/a58b68.gif

      • anon

anything that has tension on the hair I damaging. Ariana’s ponytails were TIGHT and worn everyday. No bueno. Plus her hairline would have started to recede because of the tightness. Loose bun is good for everyday.

        • in jesus name i pray amen

youre right about the hairline part, BUT it does help grow your hair… im being serious. Speaking from experience! Luckily I dont have any problems with my hairline though, my hair seems to be pretty strong.

  • Marina And My Diamonds

Good ’cause I hate your weave too.

    • Queen Amanda Bynes

      omg lol

  • adele

Her hair must be a mess but yeah she should start 2014 with getting her hair healthy, thick glossy and curly. People are interested in everything that Ariana does even if some find it “annoying”. Her makeup tutorial (where she doesn’t know what she’s doing) got almost 5 million views! It’s funny:

    annoying fuck srsly

    • Queen Amanda Bynes

Victorious was on for FIVE years? Where was I because I don’t seem to remember that.

    • Queen Amanda Bynes

lol i know it came out in 2010 and ended in 2013

they did shoot the first eposide at the end of 2009 so technially she has been playing cat for 5 years counting sam and cat

  • Queen Amanda Bynes

she looks like mariah with her weave…

  • boystan

    she looks good tho?

Oh my God, the amount of senseless comments here is ridiculous, you can’t say she is superficial and shit like that just because she doesn’t like her hair, we all have days like this when all we do is complain, she tried to change ’cause none of you were satisfied with her usual look, and now that she has changed you still complain, back off, if you haven’t had a day where you complain about your hair, you are lying, so step off, relax, make good polite and constructive comment instead of your lame complains of how she is so superficial just because she doesn’t feel comfortarble with her new hair. Don’t follow her if you are annoyed by her “superficial problems” that I’m sure you have them too.

  • threelittlebirds

Why didn’t she just wear a wig?

I am MRS BENITA OSCAR,i want to testify of the good work of DR ROBERTO AKABAH in the life of my only son God gave me and my husband.
my son was suffering from cancer of his private part that almost took his life,i was confused so also my husband was like we are going to lose the only son and child we had but God never allow that to happen by sending DR AKABAH to our rescue.
A friend send his Email address to us and immediately we contacted him he assured us that our child will not die and we never believed not until he sent what he called the cannabis oil to us and instructed us on how to apply it and after a week our son is up and sound like a new born baby.
