Parents Complain About Bangerz Show

miley-cyrus-masturbating-bangerz-pictures-1122Miley Cyrus‘ management team has been getting a ton of complaints that she has taken it too far in her performance, reports MusicFix: ‘Miley’s management have been flooded with complaints, mainly from parents, since her tour began last week in Canada, with calls for the entire tour to be axed.’

Her management team, record label and tour staff have all been called in for an emergency meeting. One parent has even contacted the boss at Interscope saying that they had to walk out of the show way before it ended. They claimed that they would ‘not subject their nine-year-old to a porn show.’

The tour has no age limit or rating guide, the only rule is that children are only allowed to attend if a parent accompanies them. Miley: ‘I make my albums to be able to travel and to be able to go on the road. That’s really kind of what I love to do more than anything.

Nothing in my life is ever a secret. That’s what I think I’m kind of representing more than anything in the past year. Fun and [being] carefree, and that’s what the show represents.’

Parents are so stupid sometimes. Anyone who saw or took the time to read about Mileys recent TV performances and Holiday touring would know what to expect from one of her concerts. It boils down to parent need to research, research, research, before they buy tickets or allow their children to go to a concert, any concert. So stop complaining and start taking responsibility for what your children watch, and do, and let the rest of us enjoy ourselves at a Miley, Lady Gaga, or any other adult targeted concert.

  • Rah

Is anyone surprised? She can do what she wants but she should’ve put a rating on the show if she’s going to mimic masturbation and oral sex.

  • Godney

Parents shouldnt be surprise at all… but she should have an age rating to the show.
Britney’s Onyx tour was less than this and it was 18+

    • Hollyhysteria

I remember that tour! I was like 9 or 10 and my sister covered my eyes at certain parts, I think she was nude in a bathtub or something

      • Godney

She wasnt nude lol, she was wearing a color nude bodysuit with sparks all over it while performing Touch of My Hand.

The most skin she showed there was to perform breathe on me

        • Hollyhysteria

I just went back and watched it on youtube, my mistake! Yeah, I just remember them having beds and stuff…that was tame to this

          • Godney

Yes, she had a bed for breathe on me.
Yesss… that was so much tamed that this

  • HarryCurls

She’s running out of private parts to show

  • HolyGround

Just like that other person said, parents should’ve known what to expect. I wouldn’t have let my child go even if there hadn’t been a rating on the show. But she really should put one on. Those two top pics show how trashy she can really be lol.

  • threelittlebirds

have parents been living under a rock? you can’t complain on something you didnt look into. these concerts should have been for at least 16, or bump it up to 18.

  • Ano

Maybe parents should educate themself about what type of artist they’re bringing their kids to see. She’s NOT Hannah Montana. She could’ve put a recommended age limit on her tour, yes, but at the end of the day it’s the parents responsibility. Everyone who pays attention to Miley, or even just read the news, knew the concert wouldn’t be something you would watch on Disney Channel or whatever.

  • thecat61

Omg! First off, Miley’s label is not Interscope it’s RCA and 2nd, why would you bring your 9 year old to a Bangerz concert if the album has a parental advisory sticker on it and then complain.

And I bet these parents who are complaining most likely watched those racy videos from the 80’s boy bands.

  • FuckHarry

Seriously who takes a 9 yr. Old to a Miley cyrus concert, she isn’t Hannah Montana any more.

  • Zaina777

Really? Miley isn’t Hannah anymore and she grew up…weirdly…but she still grew up and she isn’t going to tone it down no matter who’s there. Parents are lacking common sense if they think that she is going to keep it kid friendly. Yes, grinding on Robin Thickes dick, masturbating, and being naked on a wrecking ball in her music video clearly doesn’t define who she is now as a performer ,right?
No matter how much Miley disgusts me parents are corrupting their kids by themselves by bringing them to a concert that is obviously innapropriate for them to be at. They just want to blame Miley for their own mistake that could have been prevented and stopped.

  • anon

Bet some of these parents used their kids as bait to go to a Miley Cyrus concert. Then they noticed it was too much for the little ones and now they want to relieve their consciences

  • Hollyhysteria

Why would parents even expect anything other than what she delivered?

  • XaskTaylorX

Did they not see how miley had acted in the past year? This tour hasn’t been a surprise. We all know Miley needs a little help.

  • Kylie

Why on earth would parents take their children to see Miley? And why on earth did anyone buy tickets to see Miley? It’s just a circus of porn star wannabes.

  • Cici

But she wanted kids there!! Darn….maybe next time skank.

  • Queen Amanda Bynes

honestly if you payfor a ticket miley wants you there, she just wants money.she doesnt care if she scars kids for life in the process

  • Swifties 4 TayTay

What kind of idiot parent would take their kid to a Miley concert? They’d have to be living under a rock to not know her new persona by now.

  • Anonymous

The parents must have seen pictures of Miley rehearsing in a blonde wig and assumed the performance would be Hannah Montana…

  • Anonymous

The only way this makes sense (well, a variation):
The parent is too busy parenting the kid or kids and keeping house and pleasing the live-in boyfriend to keep up with all the crap in the world. Believe it or not, some people are that busy. Then there is this other parent maybe that checks ticketmaster real quick so she can get the kids out of the house. She had her first kid in 2007, second in 2008 and 3rd in 2009. Sees Miley Cyrus playing. Quickly tells the mom and tends to her own kid’s screaming. Mom buys the Miley tickets, assuming it’s little miss brown-haired sweet smiling Miley Cyrus still.

    • thecat61

I guess the parent never heard of the news.

  • guest

It is Miley’s 2009 Wonderworld tour all over again. It was the first tour with no Hannah Montana. Every add, every interview, every announcement repeated over and over again that Hannah Montana would not be in the show. Despite that mothers still brought their young daughters dressed up as Hannah and then complained loudly to newspapers and anyone else who would listen that Miley was mean to their children because she did not appear as Hannah. Now it is explicit material that has been announced over and over, put on the record, put in the programs, announced in the interviews and any published announcements that people are not listening to and then complaining loudly that Miley was explicit. Miley can’t seem to win when the mothers of the world make up their minds.

Some of the users on here confuse me so much. On one post about Miley and her concert everyone was saying how dare she do stuff like that in front of a kid and now you’re saying the kids shouldn’t be there? Lol

  • thecat61

Laughing at these parents blaming Miley for their stupidity.

    • Anna

Because everyone keeps up with how miley cyrus acts? I’m laughing at the fact that you think everyone pays attention to this kind of crap. Seriously, stop blaming the parents.

      • thecat61

She’s been on the news since the VMA’s. They had to have seen something about her throughout the year. And then there’s that thing called the internet.

So yeah, I’m blaming the parents because it’s their responsibility. Would they let their kids go anywhere with anyone without checking them out?

  • Ed

This is really disgusting. She’s disgusting! If I wanna go see masturbation or stripping I just go to a strip club or a brothel house! Not a fucking concert!

  • laura

This just proves that parents get shittier with the years.. These are probably also the parents who buy iPads for their little children and let them listen to Nicki Minaj and all that shit. How about parents get responsible and don’t let their kids go to shows like this?

    • thecat61

Exactly. They expect these celebs to raise their kids for them. They sit them in front of the tv and computer and that’s that.

      • laura

Preach! I sometimes baby sit on a 4 year old girl and she always mocks me because I don’t own an iPad and because everyone in her class has an iPad –‘ one time her battery died and she started screaming and told her parents I broke it. It took her parents an entire hour to explain that the battery was dead and all I did was shake my head in disapproval haha

        • Anna

Wow that is depressingly sad. But not all parents are this idiodic. Majority of parents these days still give kids boundaries, I know this because I also use to babysit a couple of kids. Their parents didn’t let them have ipads or anything like that. My cousin’s children are allowed to play with her ipad and phone, but are not allowed one of their own. Some parents spoil their kids and don’t take care of them like they should, but lets be real that is not most parents.

          • laura

It’s a lot of them, trust me. I get it though because these parents are the people who grew up with computers as well, the kids play on computers and ipads at school (which sickens me) and a lot of companies are also aiming at these little kids. I know you can’t just blame it on the parents but still. I also don’t think it is appropriate to let your children play on your own iPad, they should be playing with toys or outside. But that’s just my opinion..
Trust me, a lot of parents these days suck at raising their children. There’s a reason why kids are way brattier than they used to be a few years ago, why 13 year olds have the biggest mouths ever and why kids don’t dress like kids anymore.

  • Anna

Yes parents should have known what to expect, but at the same time there really should be an age limit on the concert. Some parents probably don’t keep up with her and only see her when their kids watch hannah montana reruns. You have to understand not everyone keeps up with celebrities. Plus some of the stuff she was doing on stage probably wasn’t expected. Twerking is one thing, but she has done some pretty inappropriate things on stage for this tour. How are parents suppose to know how intense things will get? They probably assumed a little weird dancing and thats it, miley or her rep never said otherwise. It is up to her tour manager to make sure people understand how far miley will go on stage. No one knew about it till after they saw the concert. So don’t blame the parents because this isn’t their fault and they have the right to be upset.

    • guest

There has not been any Hannah reruns on tv since mid 2011. Disney pulled the series when it completed its original run of shows. And all of the news I’ve been seeing has been playing up the raunchy stuff in the coming tour.

      • Anna

But still that doesn’t mean all parents pay attention. Should they educate themselves about an artist before they take their kids to see them? Of course, but even if they did it probably wasn’t expected to be this bad. I think miley and her tour manager are more at fault here than parents, she was big with young kids for a long time and she should know better than to let little kids into her concert.

        • thecat61

What part of ‘Parental Advisory’ on her album don’t the parents get.

          • Anna

I’m just saying she should be more appropriate at a concert. I said parents should have done their research before buying tickets. I am not putting the full blame on miley, but I do think she is more to blame. She shouldn’t be acting like that at a concert, its disgusting and I am fairly certain no one wants to see that no matter how old they are.

          • thecat61

Speak for yourself. The audience thrives on that. I’ve been to shows where basically the same shit has happened.

          • Anna

Eww I don’t know many that would pay to see that but okay, to each their own.

          • thecat61

That’s just it, you don’t expect it to happen but when it does the place goes insane.

    • Zaina777

Miley was all over the news though…

  • i can’t even

Since when touching your vagina while performing pretending to masturbate is considered expressing yourself? I get what Miley is doing by expressing her real self and stuff but she’s going too far and it’s not even sexy or enjoyable to watch? It’s embarrassing.

  • boystan

why would you even take your children to see her i thought we went through this already

  • shanghai

Whilst parents should have known that Miley has changed a lot and its not a Hannah Montana show who would have thought she would go this far with her performance!!! Bit shocked to hear some young kids singing Miley lyrics and realising those kids don’t even know what the lyrics mean but how does a parent stop that!

  • BrokenArrow18

    lol poarents are stupid

  • bosco

billy ray and tish cyrus must be the most disgusting parents ever for supporting there little piece of trash. people should be boycotting this bullshit. the cyrus family is truly sick. if she was my daughter i would disown her. Someone in the industry with some power needs to put a stop to all this crap. this is a very dark time in the music industry.

    • thecat61

      Go find some ice cream.

  • bosco

Karma has a big bite Miley. Better watch your back.

    • thecat61

Miley’s audience is independent, free-spirited and younger gay men. She caters to them and they are very happy with the show.

  • Silver

smh. And the parents thought she would keep it PG13 after all her stunts? Idiots.
