Their letter to the school said: ‘These lyrics promote sexual activity among teens.. by implying a casual one-night hook-up and by hinting at the serious issue of sexting.’

They also call the lyrics ‘vulgar’ and say that the songs inclusion in the show breaks their code of conduct. ‘Tonight, let’s get some.. Don’t let the pictures leave your phone.. I know we’ve only met, but lets pretend it’s love.’

Louis Tweeted: ‘Dear Mr and Mrs Stone, I’m deeply saddened by your complaint to Chelsea High School regarding our lyrics.. I hope the two of you ‘get some’ very soon #cryingparents’.

i don’t think that was the appropriate response

Teens really aren’t going to start having sex just because of a song, if they do, you didn’t raise them properly or there might be something wrong in their head.
    Some parents are absolutely ridiculous.

Am I the only one that wants to scream shut the f**k whenever he opens his mouth/tweets things like this?. He didn’t really have to response in anyway, who cares if parents don’t like the damn lyrics. Did he think everyone one would?

  • rose.garden

What a dumb response by Louis

    • laura

His reply indeed is quite childish.. He should’ve come up with something sassier imo

  • ISeeSparksFly

Way to show you’re mature, 22 year old self, Louis. Bravo.

    • ISeeSparksFly

      Ugh, your*

  • Hollyhysteria

The parents are right though… but it isn’t any of the worse crap they play in high school.

  • Cici

It’s a song sung by teenagers everywhere to begin with. Maybe not the ideal choice for a choir performance at school, but it isn’t going to stop them all from listening to the song. I see where the parents are coming from, though.

  • threelittlebirds

do parents actually think a song is going to make teenagers decide to have sex??

Oh Louis… Not everyone is gonna love your music, just let it go.

  • BangBang

That tweet wasn’t even necessary. It’s not like the parents wanted to ban the song from being played on the radio or whatever, they just didn’t want their kids to sing it. And even though I don’t totally agree with the parents, by tweeting that Louis made everything seem worse than it actually was.
