Miley Uses Teleprompter Bangerz Tour

miley-favemiley-teleprompterBangerz concertgoer told Radar Online: ‘I was at Miley’s Vegas concert and took these pictures because I couldn’t believe she needed a teleprompter with lyrics to all of her songs throughout the entire concert.

And it’s not like they were just there for nothing, I caught her looking at them more than a few times! The show was entertaining, but she didn’t sound great.’ How the hell is she supposed to remember everything without one?

Miley favorited a drawing of her and Harry! Insiders told Las Vegas Sun that Miley and her crew spent eight hours gambling at the MGM Grand and she won $2,000 at high stakes tables: ‘They started [gambling in the] early afternoon, and it continued until she went off to [the popular Vegas show] Beacher’s Madhouse to party at night.

They were partying while playing. They were partying before they ever got to Beacher’s Madhouse. Once she got there, the partying just picked up even more. Everybody was hammered until they called it quits.’ That was around 2 QM meaning that Miley and her crew partied nonstop for nearly 12 hours.

That night, when Miley took the stage for her concert, she told the audience, ‘I have never performed with a hangover before. All thanks to Beacher’s Madhouse, it was the best party in the world!’

  • Rah

That’s pretty unprofessional. I know she has a lot of songs, but if I can know all the lyrics, so should she. I wouldn’t want to see a performance where the artist has to read to know what to sing.

    • demo

      • Rah

That I agree. I would much rather have the artist reading off a teleprompter than not singing at all. What’s the point of watching someone lip sync?

    • thecat61

Really, unprofessional! For your information there are a lot of musicians who use teleprompters.

      • Rah

I guess the kinds of shows I go to, they don’t have them. Is it too much to ask to know your own music?

        • singer

they have them at every concert you just don’t always see them

  • laura

    Don’t all singers have these?
I remember when people were upset that she needed one for hoedown throwdown haha

    • smb

Yes, all singers us them. Every concert I’ve been to in the last 10 years, the artist have used teleprompters or have them at least available for them to use. Some also use their ear pieces with the song playing in them so they know the words.

  • Marina And My Diamonds

I’ve heard that sometimes singers forget their own songs so maybe she’s one of them.

  • hey

Most singers have these at their concerts. It’s no big deal..

  • guest

have you guys even seen videos of her performing? she’s dancing around so much that you would be able to tell if she had to turn to refer to the teleprompter a lot. i’m guessing it’s just there as a precaution. it’s easy for your mind to go blank when you’re performing in front of thousands of people. lots of amazing artists have had instances of forgetting their own lyrics.

  • Cici

    Not that serious.

  • cerenagee

I’m sure many artists have these. She slayyed.

    • Ashley

slayed what? were you even there??

      • cerenagee

I went to her concert. She slayed. Bye felicia.

        • boystan

          ‘slayed what?’ my screams

          • cerenagee

Really though. I had no voice the next day

        • Ashley

          • cerenagee

          • cerenagee

            that irrelevant.

          • Ashley

lol wtf are you talking about, i have no clue what you even mean, but ok. whatever cunt 8-)

          • lolz

lol dont even mind her, she’s just this needy annoying bitch on here [hence the double comments, unnecessary].
she takes out her anger at strangers online for all the bullying she no doubt had to endure for being a lazyeye mexican bitch :-/

          • Ashley

            @ “lolz”,

Lol not sure what the being mexican bit has to do with it…but otherwise, thanks for the info i guess :p lol
i was wondering what the point of 2 separate comments was too hah, when neither was much use or purpose

on another note, not sure how i hadnt seen this site before… but at least thanks for the friendlier welcome than that bitch left :o)

          • cerenagee

Bye Felicia is just a phrase to so.eone when someone says something irrelevant.

As for your little convo with my stalker below I’m literally laughing my ass off. You’re new so you don’t know. That bitch that “posted the friendlier comment” has been obsessed with me for months. Its creepy at this point. She just says a bunch of random racist bullshit that’s super out of line and I’m not even Mexican. She’s ignorant to the fact that there are different Hispanic ethnicities in the world. Then she likes to go on and on about how I have a lazy eye when I don’t. Haha and a lot of users on here know what I look like in real life and know I don’t have a lazy eye. Then she will go on about how I’m fat and so is my bf when we’re both not even close haha. Then she will say more racist things and how i need to kill myself. Enjoy your new friend bb <3

  • Anonymous33

She’s admitted to using them on stage at Jingle Ball.. Yes it has the lyrics for all her songs, but it’s mainly for when she does covers to other songs.

  • V

i agree i think it’s unprofessional, this is her tour and her concert not some Grammy performance where it’s a collaboration with anothers song. You spend hours learning the song and just to record it and rehearsing for your tour and you can’t remember the lyrics? A set list taped by your microphone stand is one thing, but you seriously need a teleprompter? That’s pretty much paying for overpriced karaoke night. I do a lot of performances and I’m expected to do it without music or lyrics in front of me, i personally think its probably for the fact she probably goes on stage high and doesn’t actually know what she’s doing half the time. I know a lot of fans think she’s sounds amazing but it’s truely just because they are so infatuated with her, but all it is messy sloppy it’s overpriced for what she really is doing. It’s nice to have a big visuals, but she’s a musician;what comes out of her mouth matters. I wish she’d focus on how she’s singing instead of focusing on trying to figure out how to get on all the news stations this week. I was a fan for a long time, but I’m getting tired with every week a new nude , making out picture , some stupid statement she posted on twitter, etc being referred as “news” on stuff like CNN and the today show it’s completely ridiculous, all she knows how to do is sell she’s not being original she looks lame in the eyes who have actually grown up and don’t think partying and getting naked and high/wasted is being classy or acceptable. It’s pretty sad that I’m five years younger and I have more maturity and dignity than that.

    • smb

Well, if it’s unprofessional, then all artist are unprofessional, because all artist use them or have them available.

    • guest

If you are such a wonderful artist and singer an she is so unprofessional and so high all the time that she can’t remember where she is, why is she headlining a tour and you are not? Quite frankly, if she was what you say she is, the touring companies and promoters that are backing her would have said no it is not worth the financial risk some time ago. So kindly come up with something better than it is unprofessional when it is not and is a standard practice in the business.

      • lol

to answer your question, probably because she doesn’t have a famous daddy.

        • guest

Daddy is not so dumb as to promise to reimburse the tour companies and promoters for their losses if she was a no talent junkie as was said. Daddy doesn’t need to anyway because she is not a no talent junkie.

      • XaskTaylorX

Disney and her daddy helped her to get to where she is and then she put all the negative attention on herself….

        • thecat61

Does stupidity come naturally or were you born that way?

          • XaskTaylorX

            1. Her dad was already famous. (2004 and before)
            2. 2005-2006 she started Hannah Montana with Disney.
            3. Her fans came with the Disney fame and the “attention” over the years.

    • thecat61

“Cyrus belting her vocals seemingly without the help of pre-recorded material.”

“Cyrus delivered fantastic vocals all evening long.”

“She nailed the dance moves, belted the high notes and otherwise committed to every aspect of the performance, affirming her post-Disney identity with just two songs from her pre-bangerz days and five covers.”

“Her versions of Outkast’s Hey Ya,” Linda Ronstadt’s “Ruler of My Heart” and most famously, Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” revealed subtleties in her style and a no-frills range and ferocity in her voice: However you feel about her music, there’s no denying this girl can sing.”

I guess her fans work as music critics.

She’s so high all the time. She doesn’t know what she’s doing

  • threelittlebirds

i’ve seen a lot on singers use them, so i don’t see the big deal. it’s better than her jacking up her songs or lip synching.

  • BrokenArrow18

    what’s the big deal lol

  • Sellyismygirlcrush

I have never been to a concert where there is a teleprompter used, but I see bands, you know, real musicians who play instruments too!

    • :)

you know she’s a real musician right? what you are saying is that you like another genre of music. Just sayin’, don’t compare rock/alternative with pop.

      • Sellyismygirlcrush

I like every thing dip shit. I go to pop shows to. But I was saying I’ve never seen a teleprompter. And bands sing and have to know all the notes for the intruments their playing at the same time is what I was saying.

    • HolyGround

  • Jenn

Honestly, I’m more surprised she can even read.

  • Alii

    Karaoke party.

  • thesestrangelittlethings

Even if a lot of performers use them, it’s still kind of awkward.

  • amy

Even if a lot of singers use teleprompters it doesn’t mean that it isn’t unprofessional. A singers job is to know their songs. They should be able to learn the lyrics to their own songs.

  • boystan

she uses it in case she forgets some of the words

  • boystan

doesn’t she write her songs tho?

  • thecat61

Omg, Miley kicked some butt on the black jack table. Who would’ve thunk it.

  • TrueSmiler

“because I couldn’t believe she needed a teleprompter with lyrics to all of her songs throughout the entire concert.”

Shut up, this is absolutly normal.

Unprofessional? Is exactly the opposite, she uses it to try to make the best concert possible, as a good professional.

Ok, the concert is ridiculous, but not because of teleprompter

    “but she didn’t sound great”

Yes, this is just a huge truth about the new Miley, she sounds boring all the time.

    • TrueSmiler

She sings it live, but on this tour she is using prerecorded bases at the beginning of the concert.

      Or not?

      This isn’t good.

And I’m suspicious of one thing, the songs’s instrumental is live or playback?

Is very clean, perfect all the time, during all the concert, in every concert.

Now her band is also pathetic?

      • cerenagee

Omg in the very beginning of the concert the only thing that’s pretty recorded is her saying bangerz fucking bangers that beginning part of the song. That’s it. Everything was live. It was very easy to tell it was live and she would talk to her fans and and stuff.

    • thecat61

Obviously you haven’t read the reviews.

I’ve said this before and I’m gonna say it again. You wouldn’t know the truth if it came up and bit you in the ass.

  • XaskTaylorX

Wooooooooooowwwwwww. How sad she doesn’t know her own songs…………..

  • Eva

  • mountainmiracle

To be honest I’ve never seen another performer use one or even have one there. It’s kinda sad when you can’t remember lyrics to your own songs.

    • thecat61

She didn’t claim to be perfect.

      • mountainmiracle

        Your point?

      • mountainmiracle

        Your point?

    • cerenagee

Not at all the case. The whole time she was running all.over the stage and dancing. She never would have even had the time to look and she covered other peoples song so I’m sure that helped to have there and has anyone thought that artists use that as a way to remind them which songs they’re performing in which order? Like hello

      • mountainmiracle

Like hello, you can dance and still look down at the teleprompter it’s not hard. Plus with the music playing you should be able to tell what song it is. If not then that just embarrassing. I’m not bashing her I’m just saying that she sings those songs every night, has rehearsed them countless times, and even help write some and she still needs a teleprompter. It’s sad…

        • cerenagee

She’s dancing all over the stage and whipping around the whole time and half the time she’s singing so hard that her eyes are closed. Like no. I’m sure she refers to it at times but its not like she doesn’t know her songs. And she was singing different covers for different cities. Its not even sad if she does refer to the teleprompter. Most celebs have them. We will just agree to disagree

        • Jamie

You are so fucking wrong, she uses a teleprompter because when the crowd gets really loud (which they did at the LA concert) she can’t hear the music through her ear piece, so a teleprompter helps to keep her on track, I was at the show and it was so good, she danced, sung, it was definately live. Fucking idiot

  • lol

The fact that she faved that pic of the Harry Miley drawing omg
