Fan Loses Weight For Bieber’s Attention

fat-justin-bieber-fan (1)Belieber Bryanna Debinder, 20, lost more than 122 pounds in an attempt to finally get Justin Bieber to notice her. Last year she became jealous of the slim girls who were pulled on stage by Bieber during his concerts. She vowed to lose weight and embarked on a diet.

Bryanna told Daily Mail: ‘Every time I saw him pull up a pretty, slim girl on stage, I just thought: ‘that should be me’. Everyone deserves a chance to be noticed by the person they love, and I’m his biggest fan. I just wanted to be the girl he sang to.’

The Penn State University psychology student’s obsession with Bieber, also 20, began when she saw him on MTV in 2009. Bryanna fell in love and there began an obsession that would change her life. Soon her room was filled with Justin Bieber memorabilia, including posters, dolls, duct tape and even a Justin Bieber shower curtain.

She bought his signature scents, Someday and The Key so she could smell like her idol at all times. Bryanna spent hours messaging him on Twitter, feeling a pang of jealousy when he replied to other girls’ tweets.

‘It did hurt my feelings,’ said Bryanna, who has never had a boyfriend. ‘But I understood. After all, he has 50 million followers, and gets thousands of tweets per day. ‘All of these beautiful girls are messaging him. He would never have noticed me.’

‘He is my absolute dream boyfriend,’ she said. ‘He is so gorgeous. I had everything planned in my head. I was going to tell him: ‘Thank you so much. I’ll always be there for you, and I love you.’
‘But there were so many people there, and I never got to speak to him properly.

He didn’t even notice me. After that, I’d watch his concerts and wish I could be the girl he pulls on stage. Then I’d finally have a chance to tell him.’ So, Bryanna cut out all of the junk food from her diet, and instead filled her fridge with fruit and vegetables.

She also watched YouTube exercise videos and did sit-ups at home. In just 12 months, she lost an impressive 122lbs and has dropped seven dress sizes to a UK size 8. Now, instead of hiding away in size-XL hoodies and jeans, Bryanna likes to show off her figure in dresses. ‘He’s the biggest star in the world, but he’s really made me feel like I’m part of his life. I just wish he’d Tweet me back, though.’

They do say that people who study psychology have problems themselves..
Anywho, you shouldn’t want to lose weight because of a guy. That is just plain wrong! I can’t even.. This makes me so fucking angry.

    • delle

LOL looking back at my comment now, I think it’s damn obvious I study Medical Science.

But yes, I do agree with your first point to a certain extent. Her reasons were wrong too. Shouldn’t have been for a boy – should have been for herself. But at least some good came out of it, for HER and her family. :)

      • laura

That is definitely a good thing but the reasoning behind it is so wrong. As a woman you shouldn’t give 2 shits about what men think.. I am glad for her though because she is living a healthy life but omfg she really does sound like a crazy fangirl haha

        • test

shouldn’t care what men think? lol…
          i guess if you’re a lesbian…

          • laura

Why should I care about the opinion of a man on my weight, clothes, hair or makeup? My body, my rules. If a man doesn’t like that, he can go suck his own dick.
            You are beyond pathetic.

    • in jesus name i pray amen

literally my fucking thoughts exactly. There is something seriously wrong and ironic with this sentence: “The Penn State University psychology student’s obsession with Bieber, also 20, began when she saw him on MTV in 2009.” It’s as if the journalist who wrote this article was mocking her lol

      • laura

That is the fun thing about journalists: they can manipulate articles as much as they want :p I seriously wouldn’t want her as my psychologist :o

  • delle

I don’t think her reasons were right BUT some good came out of it. She said eating healthier was one of her biggest ways to lose weight. This girl dodged a huge bullet. I was just reading that esophageal cancer has become more common due to the increased intake of carbonated drinks. I know this isn’t as relevant but holy crap. 0% survival rate.

I recently began eating healthier (after having had like 2-3 cans of pepsi a day for more than 30% of my life). I had a phase where I didn’t have water. I didn’t get INSANELY big, so I was able to lose the weight once I got my shit together. Eating healthy really affects you – how you see yourself, and of course, how alert and active you are! I’m glad that this girl got from A to B even if it was due to lame old Bieber. :P

Hope she continues being healthy and lives a healthy life.

Why can’t you lose the weight for yourself and your own well being?

Justin Bieber wouldn’t even notice her. I mean he’s banging Selena for gods sake. It’s good that she lost all the weight and became healthier…but Justin Bieber should have never have been her incentive or ambition to do so.

  • Laura

It’s good that she lost weight and is now healthy. However, the reasoning behind it is just plain crazy.

  • cinnamon

well at least she is healthy now

  • javi g

good for her thats a good motivator if you want to loose weight. even if bieber won’t notice her I’m sure there going to be a lot of dude’s who do. she looks good.

  • Alii

This is some Grease type shit. Changing yourself completely for some shallow fuck. I just hope she’s truly happy now. She’s in for a world of hurt.

  • Rah

Good for her for losing the weight (because of health reasons), but as a psych student she should be aware that obsession isn’t healthy.

  • Tash

Psychology degree??!! More like SHE needs therapy! Im happy shes healthy and she looks great. But never change superficial things to impress others. Cos if you think they will feel youre not worthy of their attention otherwise. Then they are not the kind of person that is worth your attention, affection or effort. (Fyi, im just talking in general. Not hating on Justin).

  • threelittlebirds

I’m glad she lost weight, but to do it just for someone to notice you is plain stupid. Justin doesn’t even know you exist sweetie.

  • Hollyhysteria it for yourself, not for a giant douche who isn’t going to notice you.

  • Jessika

Her intentions weren’t the right ones in my opinion, you should never change for a guy (or a girl).. but at least she has become healthier and it has benefit her in ways more important, more vital and more successful than getting on stage with bieber

  • Emma Stone

Noooooo, she should be wanting to get slim for HER not for some idiotic child man.

  • Dara

It’s good that she lost all that weight and is healthy now, but for Justin Bieber? I know she’s a big fan of him and everything, but why change for him of all people? Justin doesn’t deserve his fans. They literally will do anything for him to notice them, and defend anything he says and does

bieber needs to acknowledge that he has saved so many lives he is almost the new miley cyrus

    • Tash

*clears throat* let me just correct you there. Its Miley ‘Christ’ =p

  • Liz

She wasn’t losing the weight for “bieber” it was the point that, she felt like her weight was keeping her from things – like bieber pulling her up on stage. I totally know what her thinking process was. Being overweight, we miss out on a lot of things. I mean, It’s our fault we’re overweight but after that being someone else she was missing out on, she took that as a motivator and did something about it! And I’m seriously impressed! Good for her!!! This is a hard thing to do.

  • Cali

I can’t imagine having this level of admiration for a celebrity I don’t really know. Especially since most of them aren’t as great as they appear to be. Happy for her though, she looks great.

  • Queen Amanda Bynes

lol i saw this on twitter and didnt think it was true, at least she lost the weight tho

  • linda

That’s great that she lost all that weight. But I don’t think Psychology is the right area for her to go into.

  • Anonymous

122 pounds seems like an exaggeration. My friend is pretty much that big and tall in pictures and she’s 40 pounds overweight.

    • guest

Your friend might be lying about her weight, I was 40lbs overweight and I did NOT look that big.

      • thesestrangelittlethings

You both need to take into mind her height, not just her weight. I’m 5’9, so I’m not good at estimating the height of shorter people, but she could be… I don’t know, 5 feet and 122 lbs while being plenty overweight. Plus, if you’re shorter holding onto a lot of weight, it’s going to show a LOT more. But I’m not a specialist, so what do I know? Plus, a lot of people do lie about their way, so who knows.

  • Somebody

    Amazing transformation!

  • in jesus name i pray amen

I feel bad for her, but most of all I am happy that she has been able to lose all that weight — not for the sake of Bieber, but for the sake of her own health. She looked very unhealthy in the first pic, so if her longing for Bieber could inspire her to change her lifestyle and lose the weight, then power to her. I just hope that Bieber is not the person who keeps her going.

  • Awesome

Like everyone else, she didn’t do it for the right reasons but it’s also good to have motivation and good for her to find some sort of motivation. She looks amazing and I know how hard it is to do something like that. I lost 20 pounds last summer (I didn’t have too much weight to lose, luckily) but the results of losing weight like that just make you feel so good about yourself and just change your entire outlook on life. I’m glad she has a newfound confidence because that’s the best feeling that comes with losing weight.

  • iWizard

Well whatever motivates you to do good for yourself (without harming others, I should say) is alright in my books.

  • Eva

Well she looks healthier now… Probably has a much safer blood pressure level, sugar level etc… It is by far one of the silliest reasons to lose weight but the result is good … I guess…

And another thing, Good luck being a convincing psychologist. lol
