Taylor told The Sun: ‘I’m pretty boring. We’re all pretty boring unless we’re playing and then we’re not boring. As long as nudity has an artistic purpose and meaning behind it I’m ok with it. It’s when it has no reason to be there it’s not my favourite.
I don’t own a computer. I’m not a big fan of technology.. I’m not a big fan of flying. I’m not scared of flying but I’m not a fan of it. I’ve never been fired and I’m not a satanist,’ says pop rocker Taylor Momsen, clearing up some misconceptions. ‘That was a story that went around, that I’ve been fired from everything. I’ve never been fired in my life.’
What is her own vision of hell? ‘I don’t believe there’s a hole in the ground with demons in it but I could be wrong. Hell is all around us, it’s the way we treat each other and the way we treat the Earth. We already live in it.’
Oasis is a big inspiration: ‘I’d love to write with Noel Gallagher. They wrote great songs. He’s wicked cool. He was exactly the guy I wanted him to be, a total rock star. I haven’t met Noel yet but I hope I will.’
‘I definitely don’t try to cause controversy. I just do my s*** and people talk about it.’ Will she return to acting? ‘The only role I’d say yes to is Thor in the Avengers films but Chris Hemsworth’s got that locked down.
Thor is the coolest character. He’s the god of thunder, the god of lightning and he’s got that hammer. That’s the only acting job I’d want. I’m more about writing, touring and making records until I physically can’t do it any more.’
On posing nude: ‘We’re all naked when we’re born. If you find it shocking, that’s your own perception.. I don’t think John Lennon was trying to shock people when he was naked on Two Virgins. He was just trying to be as honest and raw as he could, and that’s what my intent is with nudity.’
On the arrow on her back: ‘That came from Pink Floyd. You know that photograph of the women sitting by a pool, nude, with all the record covers painted on their backs? That’s one of my favorite posters, so I stole the idea. Then when we cropped it for the CD, it turned into E.C. Was Here, by Eric Clapton.’
