    dafuq is she wearing?

  • anon

she looks like a stereotypical terrorist

I’ve had it with these hipster white bitches at Coachella accessorizing bindis to look exotic or unique or whatever the fuck they think they’re accomplishing.

    • Duh

Why do you care so much? Its pathetic, honestly. If she likes it, let her be. Jesus, what the fuck does her style or anyone’s style have to do with you? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. If you don’t like it, look away.
      Or just stfu.

Because it’s incredibly annoying to see someone appropriate something that has actual religious and cultural significance to people. What it has to do with me is that bindis belong to MY culture.

So you can go shave your back now.
        Bye Jason

People use crosses as an accessory, they even sell them at stores like forever 21 like its no big deal but when it comes to bindis its the end of the world? Bindis are pretty, and these things have different meanings to everyone. If she wants to wear a bindi and it means something to her, then let it be. People need to learn how to share. You can’t control what other people are doing. Everyone has the right to wear whatever the hell it is that they want.

So because people use crosses as an accessory, that means it’s okay and everyone else should be fine with having their cultural/religious norms diminished to mere accessories?

Wearing Native American feather headdresses and such if you are not Native American is stupid.

Having a Quinceañera if you are not a 15 year old Hispanic girl is stupid.

Wearing a bindi when you are not Indian is stupid.

Point being that these things do NOT have any meaning outside of the cultures and traditions from which they originate. Do you honestly think they mean anything to her? No. She’s wearing them merely for the aesthetics. But of course some people feel so damn entitled that they fail to understand why they simply cannot pick and choose and take certain aspects of someone else’s culture just because.

        • Dana

Why can’t you though, if you’re not disrespecting it? Why is everything so ‘copyrighted’ when were all just people living on the same planet? Everyone loves to complicate things. If you want to live your life worrying about people using symbols in the ‘wrong way” I think thats whats stupid. Everyone should enjoy being on this planet, not arguing about whats glued to their forehead.

    • Dara

I kind of agree with you, but I would have put it in a different way.

    • cbt

      relax osama

This comment is too stupid to even be dignified with a proper response. Wrong country and wrong religion, boo boo. You tried it tho.

Eugenics to ween off such hateful, racist, and utterly ignorant folks like yourself….that wouldn’t be such a bad thing.

Oh my God I fucking hate it when people make a big deal out of white girls wearing bindis, crosses, burqas or whatever the fuck, like honestly shut the fuck up, just because someone is wearing a bindi without being actually Indian or a cross without being a Christian, doesn’t mean they’re appropiating a whole fucking culture or demeaning it, they LIKE it, they just like it, they’re not talking about that culture, disrespecting it or even giving their opinion on it, they’re just wearing something they find pretty and cool, stop. A whole culture is not a bindi, a cross, a feather crown or a burqa.

    • Dana
