Demi Lovato Really Don’t Care SINGLE

Demi Lovato’s new single is ‘Really Don’t Care’ ft. Cher Lloyd.

This sounds just like the Icona Pop song ‘I Love It’.

  • laura

No! She should’ve chosen Nightingale to be her new single.

    • Queen Amanda Bynes

  • ….

It probably won’t be as successful as the icona pop song. how many singles is she going to have from this album though? This is like her 5th one. She needs to get better songs for her next album & not go with this dancy pop sound, I think pop rock suits her voice and image the best

  • BritneyS

There are so much better songs on the album.

  • Some Dude

With Neon Lights and now this song, she’s establishing herself as a mainstream shitty pop star, but she’s so much better than that :(

    • DannyRR

Just because she has some songs that aren’t as popular as her others doesn’t mean she’s a bad musician.

      • Some Dude

I don’t think she is. But what shes putting out on the radio is going to affect people’s perception of what kind of artist she is and I don’t think her radio hits are doing her justice.

  • Hollyhysteria

I love this one but “Without the love” is better.

    • noriwest

      love that song

  • barbiescunt

This sounds horrible. Why rip off someone’s song when you could just write your own? Like I literally don’t like it bc it’s too similar to I Love It, but just a horrible rip off.

    • laura

But it’s nothing like I love it? I seriously don’t get this.

      • Cat

I think it’s because of the ‘I did this and that’ during the verses and then the IDC situation with the fast pace music. Other than that I see nothing similar.

        • laura

I mean, yeah both are songs about breaking up and not really caring about it but that’s it and they are upbeat but they don’t really sound like each other, at least not to me.

          • barbiescunt

How you don’t hear the similarities is beyond me. From the way she sings the lyrics to the chorus. Clearly she used I Love It as a base to create this song, and maybe she didn’t write it but whoever did sure did rip them off.

          • laura

I really don’t hear it. The beat is completely different, the lyrics are different and even the message of the song is different. The only similarity is that Demi sings I really don’t care and that Icona Pop sings I don’t care.

    • aly

The first time I heard this song it totally reminded me of “I love it”, I thought I was the only one lol. Something that could’ve happened is that she wrote the song and unconsciously composed similar to “I love it” which is a thing that can happen to artists a lot. They don’t even notice until someone tells them “hey ur song sounds like this other song”. And they go like “yeah, shit, that’s true”.

  • ScHoolGirl

Its actually a pure hybrid of ‘I Love It’ and “How We Do’ by Rita Ora

  • Chibiusa

So basically she’s given up on trying to showcase her actual talent? I should’ve expected this once all she ever talked about was her eating disorder.

    • …..

She desperately wants to be a big mainstream pop star like miley/christina /Taylor Swift/britney etc. She even said she picked songs for this album that would be radio friendly so more people would buy her music. But only heart attack did well for her because it was heavily promoted. She needs to pick a sound for herself and not continuously change it just because it doesn’t become super popular

I don’t think so. What’s wrong with her is crappy management and a shit label. I’m actually upset. There has to be a reason she hasn’t left yet and why she’s on a management team whose clients include the JBros and Collins Key, but I can’t imagine what it is. I just hope she’s parted from them by the time she seriously starts working on her next album, either that or has more control at least over album content and single releases.

    • Chibiusa

omg what is wrong with you lol

    • Marina And My Diamonds

      You need a hug.

    • Some Dude

You might be thinking of Beyonce

    • thecat61

Sounds like you need a snickers!!! Chill out.

    • JoeJonasTroops

i’m obsessed with the jonas brothers they gave demi fame

  • FuckHarry

Their are better songs in this album I really like this song but I love nightingale, something that we are not & incase but whatever :p

  • Marina And My Diamonds

I don’t know why she’s watering down her talent.

    • Queen Amanda Bynes

Ariana’s doing it too. Both Demi and Ari would have grammy’s if they released their ballads as singles

      • Marina And My Diamonds

I don’t get why they’re pushing to be “radio friendly” when many people say the radio is where music goes to die.
It’s like being weak on purpose.

  • Troll

I don’t understand what you guys are saying! This is such an amazing song! Love love love Demi! :)

  • GirlFromYourDreams

Her management sucks and needs to get their sh!t together. She finally had mainstream credit with Heart Attack then releases Made in the USA which comparitavly speaking is a piece of crap. By the time they released Neon Lights mainstream forgot about her. The attention span for an artist is two weeks at most.

Sure she can sell midsize venues but I feel that she wants to be bigger and better. She wants to sell out MSG and the Stapes Center she wants a world tour.

Her management and Hollywood Records isn’t making it happen.

And the thing is she’s SOOOOOOOOO talented she could pull it off no problem.

    • JoeJonasTroops

don’t blame it on her reccord lable, the jonas brothers and miley cyrus were in hollywood reccords for a while, they sold out staples center and world tours tho

The thing about this song is, a lot of tweeners are gonna love it, and yes, it’s radio friendly, but it’s completely generic. She has some really great songs on the album but her management team is intent on not having anyone hear them but her already established fanbase. Demi wants to be taken seriously, but with the team she has now, she’s not gonna be. And the person who said she could have a grammy by now if not for her team and their crappy single choices, I agree. Something like Nightingale or Warrior(which seems to be underrated) or In Case would have done so much better and some of the emotional ballads could have been potentially grammy worthy. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks what they’re putting out there for her is just shooting way below what she’s capable of because she’s a lot better than that. She has actual talent and she can write some good songs, but it’s pure generic pop her team wants to put out there for her. I don’t get the ‘pop star’ vibe from Demi at all and I don’t think she’ll be a Taylor or a Miley. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but she’s just not nearly as poppy as they are. I was watching this concert of hers from 2008 and it was brilliant. Now she has a powerful voice and nice rocky belt(you can hear in Give Me Love) she’s developed over the years. She could excel in both ballads and rockier music. I’m waiting to see if she catches onto that for her next album because if she does, there’s no stopping her.

  • Melly

I just hope she can do this song consistently well for live shows.

As seen with Neon Lights and songs like Heart Attack (anyone remember how hoarse she was for the majority of the Here We Go Again performances???) the performances weren’t the best cause her voice always seemed strained or unable to hit the notes. I just want a single she’ll be able to slay every time.

Not just dogging on her the same goes with other artist.

    • Guest

I think it’s an easier song to sing than Heart Attack or Neon Lights. And Neon Lights was probably the most un-Demi song she’s ever put out too. It’s bizarre. I’ve noticed that right now, she’s not quite as good with singing lower as she is midrange and the such. Both Heart Attack and Neon Lights go a bit lower but RDC doesn’t. Also doesn’t have such powerful belts in it. I suppose that’s one upside to it being so generic.

  • Smh

But why didn’t they choose “something that we’re not” whhhhyyyyyyy

  • .

I love demi but I hope this doesn’t flop

  • JoeJonasTroops

‘without the love’ ‘really don’t care’ i HATE because they’re about king joe jonas, i hope they flop!
