Taylor Swift Bought Koshland Mansion?

taylor-swift-koshlandTaylor Swift may have bought Koshland Mansion, an illustrious Neoclassical villa in Presidio Heights (San Francisco, CA) on sale for $17.995 million. The 18,000 square foot home is a modified replica of Marie Antoinette’s Petit Trianon outside of Paris and was built in early 1900s by wealthy wool merchant Koshland.

In 1910 Mister Koshland employed an international coterie of seven live-in domestics to care for his family of five. The main mansion has 8 bedrooms, 5 full and 2 half bathrooms, 9 fireplaces, 4 kitchens, elevator access to all 4 floors, and off-street parking for 7 cars. A separate guesthouse offers another 3-5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 fireplaces, plus formal living and dining rooms, and an elevator accessible 2-car garage.

even if this true, I don’t understand why one person needs to have a 18,000 sq. foot house. it would seem awfully lonely.

I don’t think she plan to live there. It is just an investment

I know right. A cute little cosy apartment would so much more fun! Or maybe that’s just me because I seriously love little apartments haha

I don’t want to compare her to him.. but..I can’t help but notice she’s kinda like Michael Jackson with the whole big-house-even-though-I’m-living-on-my-own kinda thing. And the way her house was described in an interview once (Alice in wonderland meets peter pan).. I can’t ignore that.

Sooo how many frckn houses has she bought at this point??

Houses are good investments, which is why she owns so many. Buy a good house, put some money into it, sell it for more than you bought it for.
