Taylor Swift may have bought Koshland Mansion, an illustrious Neoclassical villa in Presidio Heights (San Francisco, CA) on sale for $17.995 million. The 18,000 square foot home is a modified replica of Marie Antoinette’s Petit Trianon outside of Paris and was built in early 1900s by wealthy wool merchant Koshland.
In 1910 Mister Koshland employed an international coterie of seven live-in domestics to care for his family of five. The main mansion has 8 bedrooms, 5 full and 2 half bathrooms, 9 fireplaces, 4 kitchens, elevator access to all 4 floors, and off-street parking for 7 cars. A separate guesthouse offers another 3-5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 fireplaces, plus formal living and dining rooms, and an elevator accessible 2-car garage.
