Will YOU read their book? It’s obviously no ‘Miles To Go’!

Obviously it’s no good, and they did not write it.

Two things: either the book IS that bad, or it’s getting bashed because of who they are.

    • johnny

Its most likely that bad. Their sisters tried out fiction not too long ago and it was awful as well.

It’s that bad. I read a preview section of it. It made me cringe so hard.

I don’t understand this little project of theirs at all. It’s so laughable and degrading to struggling writers who are serious about their work. To have these two come out with a ‘book’ (that they didn’t even write entirely??) just because they’re rich and probably have nothing else to do is such a slap in the first. Especially with all the publicity its given right now. I haven’t read the book yet but from the summaries, it seems like a rip off of every dystopian YA novels out there. Nepotism in hollywood is so real right now. Like come on, you can be rich and STILL make a name for yourself but don’t go down this cheap road. Do something you’re actually good at and make a name for yourself. Stop relying on others’ hard work…

seems weird though, i wouldn’t read it.

you can read the first two chapters here:

this bit stuck out for me lol i wonder how much is based on themselves:

” Governess begged me to get a chest alteration before the party season. I refused again and again, and she would sigh dramatically, whole body crumpling as though I had stabbed her with my zinger.

Governess believes in enhancements with the same intensity she believes in perfectly tied waist sashes. Her own face ceased changing when she began her yearly visits to the Rejuvenation Island Clinic. You could not discern her age unless you noticed the dullness in her eyes. She has yet to have the sparkle put back in, which is a very painful procedure.
Up here in the upmost of Upper Levels, we have everything we could possibly want for, according to Governess, who never fails to want for an opinion. Unfortunately, this doesn’t include an actual person with whom I can have an actual conversation”

That last paragraph was not proofread at all and it all sounds awkward. There are people working their ass off just to get published and these 2 get to do this trash. Did they have an editor? I know they had help writing it but someone should have edited this. “Never fails to want for an opinion” and “the upmost of Upper Levels” need to be reworded. They either ignored the editor or should’ve bought a better one because this isn’t good.

OK, my mom is an author. She’s published through harlequin so just for fun I sent her that. She’s still laughing. She pointed out “the upmost of Upper Levels” too. I asked what would happen if she wrote like this she said “We’d be homeless. My editor would tell me to quit or screen me for drugs.”

    Long ass title

They should stick to the makeup fashion projects because they are actually good at it, the writing, not at all. please.
