Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson Pay Tribute To Alan Rickman“Harry Potter” fans received sad news today after learning that “Harry Potter” actor Alan Rickman passed away from cancer. Alan’s co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson posted heartfelt messages paying tribute to the man that they once knew as Professor Snape.In Daniel’s Google+ post, he called Alan “undoubtedly one of the greatest actors” he will ever work with. The “Victor Frankenstein” actor goes on to say that Alan always supported him in his post-Potter work. “I’m pretty sure he came and saw everything I ever did on stage both in London and New York,” he reveals. Daniel continues to praise both Alan as an actor and as a person.

Emma Watson has been actively retweeting messages about her former co-star’s death from J.K. Rowling, Matthew Lewis and other publications.  “I’m very sad to hear about Alan today. I feel so lucky to have worked and spent time with such a special man and actor. I’ll really miss our conversations. RIP Alan. We love you,” she wrote on her Facebook page.

Alan Rickman was 69 years old.
