It looks like Selena Gomez will be adding another executive producer credit to her name. The singer is working on a scripted television drama inspired by her rise. Today, details about the show were announced at Lifetime’s upfront presentation.
Deadline reports that Academy Award-winner Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti have also signed on as executive producers. The show follows a young actress as she tries to make it in Hollywood “as seen through the eyes of her friends who quickly become her most trusted inner circle.”
In addition to this project, Selena will serve as the executive producer of two other shows: “13 Reasons Why,” which will stream on Netflix, and a Freeform series that is being described as a “Latina ‘Empire.'”
