While artists celebrate their Grammy nominations, Camila Cabello is happy knowing that “Bad Things” hit number one on iTunes. On Monday night, the singer begged her fans to get the song from the number two spot up to the number one position. It eventually paid off.
The song is sitting pretty at number 17 on Billboard’s “Hot 100″ chart, but has slowly been rising every week. Camila and collaborator Machine Gun Kelly have been promoting “Bad Things” for the past few weeks and recently released a visual for the duet.
While an iTunes hit is far from proof that a viable solo career is in Camila’s future, it does show that she doesn’t need the rest of Fifth Harmony to make noise in the music industry.
Is Camila’s continued solo success another nail in Fifth Harmony’s coffin?
