Fresh off of her “Dancing With The Stars” announcement, Normani Kordei sat down with WWD to talk life after Camila Cabello went off to become a solo star. “We’ve just been vibing, honestly,” Normani says about the progress of Fifth Harmony’s third album. One thing making the group’s album process a better experience is apparently the growth Normani has gone through over the years.
“I’m not the same person that I am even a month ago,” Normani says. “When people start saying certain things, you kinda believe it. But I know who I am and I owe it to myself.”
After Fifth Harmony’s lead singer Camila left the group, the girls began a campaign in search of a fifth member and they have found the perfect replacement. “Our fifth member are our fans,” the singer reveals. “We worked so hard throughout the past four or five years together. The chemistry is there,” she says about remaining a foursome.
Fifth Harmony my not have completely broken up, but that hasn’t stopped Normani or the rest of the girls from exploring their individual interests–one of Normani’s being acting. “That’s always been a dream of mine,” she admits with dreams of crossing over from music to acting like Jennifer Lopez.
