The world was rocked with the news that in 2017, there would be a time when neo-Nazis and white supremacies would march along the streets with flaming torches. However, that is exactly what happened late Friday night and early Saturday morning in Charlottesville, Virginia when a group of angry protesters began chanting “You will not replace us” on the campus of University of Virginia.
The rally soon became violent when the angry mob began fighting anti-hate protesters, and, at one point, a man drove his car into a crowd of innocent people and killed a woman. During all of these violent acts of hate, there was one question on everyone’s mind.
Not only was there no police force present, even after the governor declared a state of emergency, but President Donald Trump failed to condemn the actions of the white supremacists and right wing extremists.
