Demi Lovato sat down for a chat on “The Elvis Duran Show” on Thursday and promised that her upcoming album will document her journey through her mid-20s. The singer talked about her single life hanging out alone at home, but also issued a threat to anyone who might think she’s vulnerable like the person who tried to break into her place earlier this year.
“I’m at a pivotal point in my life where I’m single now and I’m living on my own–well, with a security guard. So, don’t try anything out there,” Demi said. “Actually, try me. Let’s see what happens.” Maybe she picked up a few fighting moves from her most recent ex before their breakup. Demi aparenty is missing her Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos too much, though.

“I get along with me very well,” she said when Elvis asked about her single life. “I am by myself at night and I put on some Netflix. Sometimes, I just knit or watch crime shows.” Elvis asked her what she likes to knit, and Demi said she’s making scarves that might well turns into Christmas presents.
Demi is getting ready to turn 25 this weekend, and discussed how that influenced her album, as well. Without giving too much away, Demi said the album will be a reflection her life in her mid-20s. She wouldn’t offer up a release date, but she did put a new song on everyone’s radar. Demi said a fun, uptempo track called “Daddy Issues” will be out soon.
