Miley Cyrus might not have intended her big “Bitch Is Back” announcement to mean being slapped with a $300 million copyright infringement lawsuit, but such is life. On Tuesday, she was one of sixteen performers to take part in the taping of “Elton John: I’m Still Standing—A Grammy Salute.”
Miley had the honor of opening the show with a lively performance of “The Bitch Is Back.” Her solo cover followed a “Tiny Dancer” duet with the night’s honoree at the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
To preview the full event, Miley shared several photos from behind the scenes. The singer even posted a picture alongside Sam Smith, who also had the privilege of performing in Sir Elton’s honor.
This year’s tribute event is slated to air April 10 at 9pm ET on CBS. Performances from Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Shawn Mendes and more can be expected.
