Selena Gomez 'I've Given Up The Internet'
[EDIT]

Stunning Selena Gomez featured on the cover this year's SeventeenPROM issue: 'I've given up the Internet. I don't read comments, and I don't go on any of the sites anymore, and I just feel better. And it's not about being a celebrity, you get on MySpace, Facebook, there's all these different outlets where people can just feel like nobody's watching them so they can just say whatever they want to say, and that gets dangerous sometimes.'
Least fave trend: 'My least favorite trend of 2009 would have to be broad-shouldered jackets. I'm probably bitter because I can't pull it off! It did look good on certain people, just not me.'
On asking a guy to the prom: 'Oh man! I’m not sure there's really a specific way to do it. I think you would seem more powerful if you just went up to him, even in front of his friends, and asked him. Because even if he says no, you can walk away knowing that you had the confidence to ask him. And I think that confidence is the best quality to have.' More Seventeen.
Miley Cyrus, 'Music Industry Shelters Kids'
[EDIT]
International music icon Miley Ray Cyrus spoke out on her official site about her extreme talent with music and collaborating: 'Every Rose is a classic and one of my favorites. Bret Michaels and Poison was my very first concert and introduced me to rock and roll. I recently heard the song play and everyone around me starting singing along. Its a song that everyone knows and loves.
I feel like the way the music industry is today really shelters kids and they aren’t exposed to songs as honest and real as this one. Bret and I had a great time in the studio together just hanging out and making music. It was so surreal to have him sit down with his acoustic guitar and walk me through Every Rose and then give me the opportunity to add my own flare and edge to it.
Bret is so passionate about music and it shows. I think it is such a rad collaboration because it shows that two artists that seem so different on the outside can come together and organically create something that we are both proud of. I look forward to finishing the song in LA with Bret and John Shanks who is producing.'
Justin Gaston Wants FAME & FORTUNE
[EDIT]
Now that Miley has thrown her former underwear model boyfriend Justin Gaston to the wayside and replaced with him with a controlling Australian.. Justin needs a new gimmick! He's starring in an INTERNET ONLY show called 'If I Can Dream' that is webcast 24-7.
Justin is shacked up with four fellow photogenic wannabes in a Hollywood crash pad in search of fame and fortune. In addition to weekly episodes broadcast on Hulu, voyeurs viewers will be able to watch the action in the house live, as it goes down. Will YOU watch Justin Gaston walk around a house and play guitar shirtless all day?
Miley PARTY IN THE USA, BEST OF 2009
[EDIT]

Miley Ray Cyrus' song 'Party In The USA' was featured in Entertainment Weekly's 2009 Best & Worst. The hit song was #8 on the BEST LIST: Call it whatever you want: tween dreck, cultural cyanide, the only sign of the impending apocalypse that was missing from 2010. We'll be in the corner, moving our hips like yeah. Miley plays the nervous Nashville bumpkin overwhelmed by LA Glamour until the sounds of Jay-Z and Britney save her:
'So I put my hands up/ they're playing my song/ the butterflies fly away' even though she has since admitted in interviews that she'd never actually hear a Jay-Z track, her blithe tribute to the power of pop radio makes us so freakin' happy, we forgive her.' Thx Bridget. What do YOU think was the BEST song of 2009?
