JONAS Nintendo DS Video Game FALL

Disney Interactive Studios announced development of JONAS for Nintendo DS. The game allows players to take on the role of three superstar brothers, Nick, Joe and Kevin Lucas, in outrageous adventures from their DC series.
Players help the JONAS band members juggle concerts, school, friends and fans to find the balance between their rock star world and ordinary lives. VP of Marketing: 'JONAS is the perfect complement to the hit television show, giving fans additional access to the Jonas Brothers as they portray the Lucas Brothers, their music, their fashion and their lives.
The game delivers a blend of adventure, humor and music that will keep fans
of the Jonas Brothers entertained and engaged this holiday season.' The game features other main characters from the show, including good friends Macy and Stella, and lets fans explore familiar locations including the brother's firehouse and school as seen in the television show.
Players can also customize the JONAS band members' wardrobe for their daytime antics, as well as cool outfits for when they take the stage. JONAS allows players to collect musical notes to power up their guitars and then..
..strike the right guitar chords to overcome obstacles and help JONAS band members. The game also features hit songs the show. Fans will be able to perform to the songs in concerts after each level is completed.
JONAS includes access to DGamer, the online community exclusively for Disney gamers on the Nintendo DS, allowing them to chat with other players and unlock additional items in their game. JONAS will be available this fall for Nintendo DS. Will YOU play it?
Chace Crawford ON FOOTLOOSE Role

Chace Crawford chatted with EW about shooting Paramount's dance classic Footloose remake next March. On Zac Efron dropping out: 'I know Zac and we're actually friends. He's gotta make the best choice for his career at this point and I have to make the best for mine and luckily it worked out for both of us.'
On brutal singing and dancing audition for director Kenny Ortega: 'It was, like, five hours of the most rigorous tests ever. I walked out very confident.' According to the film's producer: 'At the end of it, we all sort of looked at each other and said, 'He's the guy!''
Julianne Hough will screen-test this week for the role next week: Producer: 'It's
a much more singing-intensive movie for the female lead. The classic hit songs from the movie will be sung. There will be new songs that will be written by new artists, those will be soundtrack songs. It's not really a burst-into-song musical.
Any songs that are sung are coming out of an organic place.' The more elaborate choreography may not appear in the new film. Chace: 'I don't know if the gymnastics [high bar] scene is going to make it, I've got some movement in me, but I'm not a dancer. I need to start stretching now.'
JONAS Battle With Nickelodeon Moves

Jonas Brothers' JONAS moving from Saturdays to Sundays, according to NYDN: Just weeks into its run with the new show JONAS, Disney Channel
has moved original episodes from Saturday to Sunday.
The show, while doing okay in the Nielsens against super-tough Nickelodeon fare on Saturdays, hasn't set the ratings on fire nor even come close to matching the excitement the Jonas Brothers have gained before.
Until late last week, Disney had JONAS scheduled for Saturday, but viewers instead found the film 'Cars.'
A Disney spokeswoman said the network usually airs a summer schedule from Memorial weekend through August, and the JONAS move was part of that plan.
Starting this weekend, films will fill Saturdays, and comedy series Fridays and Sunday: 'In addition to its Sunday airing, JONAS will be seen in other time slots throughout the summer to provide viewers an opportunity to sample the series.'
Nick Jonas South American Simple Win

Nick Jonas May 2009 SimpleWins blog: Hola from South America! We just arrived in Rio and it is so beautiful and the people are so nice. We have loved visiting all of the different countries. There have been so many fans everywhere we have been. Their love and support of music is incredible.
As you can see from the photo I posted this month, we even found time (and
a place) for a game of wiffle ball. Once we finish here it is back to the States for final rehearsals and tweaking of the new show on the new stage. I can't wait for..
..all of you to see it, it is massive. We will also be doing promotion for our new CD. Mark your calendars June is going to be filled with lots of JB activities, most importantly the release of our album on June 16th as well as the start of our US leg of the World Tour officially kicks of June 20th in Dallas!
