Jonas Brothers & Miley THE NEW Virginity

Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers will be featured in a new Vh1 special called THE NEW VIRGINITY. There's a trendy pop culture movement that's burst into the mainstream to take a stand against our hyper-sexed society. It's born out of traditional values and sealed with promise rings, abstinence clubs and purity balls. It stars the likes of Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, who've made headlines with their public pronouncements of sexual purity.
It's a hip new calling card: virginity. VH1 NEWS PRESENTS: THE NEW VIRGINITY chronicles this recent phenomenon. The special takes us back to classic virginal examples such as Brooke Shields, and Tori Spelling's 'Donna Martin' character on Beverly Hills 90210. Then it explores the roots of our current obsession with chastity, the stars who've made their virginity a major part of their public persona. In a world where tweens grow up too fast,
..a public declaration of chastity until marriage is a statement against the fast and furious life that many young stars succumb to, particularly those in the entertainment industry. But, as the show will point out, virginity doesn't stop celebs from looking and acting provocatively, playing both sides with impressive marketing results.
The stars aren't the only ones caught up in virgin-mania. At Purity Balls across America, dads and daughters are living an abstinence fairy tale. And then there's 22-year-old college student Natalie Dylan, who's auctioning off her virginity on the internet, for a multi-million dollar payday! VH1 goes inside pop culture's virgin obsession in THE NEW VIRGINITY.
Nick Jonas, 'Stay Won't Be On My Album'

Nick Jonas' controversial new song song 'Stay' will not appear on his album. Nick told MTV: 'It might be on a bonus edition. I wrote it a little late to add it to the record now, but you never know what could happen.'
NIck admitted that the song was written in response to a 'tricky' situation and claimed that he is delighted that some good managed to come of it: ''Stay' is a song I wrote that day we had off in Washington. It came after some things that I was going through that really inspired it.. and I'm just in a good place right now and was able to get a song out of it, which is always nice.' Thx Brittany for pix!

From Amelia & Lindsey: Wardrobe malfunction Nick Jonas last night was incredible! First, Tyler Clark (from WE THE KINGS) sang with Diane Birch. Nick came on, sang the usual songs and The Climb, Hello Beautiful, Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours and The Way You Make Me Feel again.
All his band members ask us questions about him to see if we could answer. Then someone threw a Red Sox shirt up on the stage and he picked it up. When his tour manager (a Red Sox fan) tried to get a picture of him with it, so he brought him out and was like okay one time I will do this because I love you guys and held up the shirt for everyone to take pics.
