Article excerpt from Seattle Times!\: Demi Lovato's statement said she checked herself into a treatment center to deal with 'emotional and physical issues,' but didn't specify. A person familiar with the situation previously told The Associated Press that Lovato entered treatment for problems including an eating disorder and cutting herself. The person,
..speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly due to the sensitivity of the matter, later clarified the statement, saying Lovato had dealt with those issues in the past. Demi left the Camp Rock Tour over the weekend to enter an undisclosed facility.
'Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. Demi & her family ask that the media respect her privacy during this difficult time.. Demi is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.'

Demi Lovato has checked into a treatment center to get help for 'emotional and physical issues.' Her rep told TMZ: 'Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional & physical issues she has dealt with for some time.' She is not seeking treatment for drug use:
'Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. [Demi] regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.' She was in a physical altercation with a female member of her tour recently which was a 'catalyst' in her decision to seek professional help.
