Selena Gomez's stalker's repeated threats to kill her pose a 'serious threat' to her, an LAPD revealed. Detective Jose Viramontes wrote a sworn declaration in which he says he interviewed Thomas Brodnicki and Brodnicki 'reiterated that he had many conversations with God about killing Ms. Gomez.'
Brodnicki made it clear, he wasn't going home to Illinois until he met Selena. Brodnicki pled not guilty to felony criminal stalking yesterday. Billboard.biz: How has this year's EMA progressed? In years past, the EMA was really Pan-European focused. We didn't expand beyond those boundaries all that much. The remit that we crafted for ourselves internally two years back [was to] expand the boundaries into more of a global direction.
This year, we've taken a giant step in that we've created the Worldwide Act award. So for the first time we have representation from Asia Pacific (BIGBANG), Latin America (Restart), the States (Britney Spears) & Africa (Abdelfattah Grini).
Secondly, our host Selena Gomez. This is the first time that we really have a true multi-platform host. And in years past we would a separate host for digital or for online. This year, Selena is really covering all the bases.
What made Selena Gomez stand out as the best candidate? She is extremely talented and an actress but also has a very strong comedic sensibility. She also has an extremely passionate following on the digital side. If you factor all those things together, it's really the perfect storm. She is custom made for us.

Miley Cyrus will join Sony Picture Animation’s Hotel Transylvania as Dracula's teenage daughter Mavis according to EW. Adam Sandler is voicing Dracula, who builds the titular resort for all manner of monsters (and their families) as a way of keeping Mavis from venturing out into the real world.
Things get tricky after a regular guy (voiced by Andy Samberg) ends up at hotel. Also stars: Kevin James (Frank, i.e. Frankenstein), Fran Drescher (Eunice, i.e. Bride of Frankenstein), David Spade (Quasimodo), Cee Lo Green (Murray the Mummy), & Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon as a pair of werewolves with an overwhelmingly large litter. Film will hit theaters Sept. 21, 2012.
