Bridgit Mendler Hollywood Records Deal

Bridgit Mendler has signed a record deal with Hollywood Records to release her debut album early next year. Bridgit, 18, makes her onscreen singing debut in the DCOM 'Lemonade Mouth' that premieres April 15. The soundtrack's first single 'Someone' was released digitally on March 22 and sold 6,000 copies.

From Sarah: I was at Seventeen magazine today in New York City because my cousin works there and I spotted Demi Lovato and a friend eating in the building cafeteria! It was around 7 PM. I couldn't take pictures because there was security around. One of the interns at Seventeen I follow Tweeted about it! @babybrittis: spotted demi lovato in the seventeen offices.

Joe Jonas, Britney Spears Tour Opener?

Enrique Iglesias has dropped out of Britney Spears' upcoming Femme Fatale tour and Joe Jonas is now a top candidate to replace him, reports Zap2It. Joe on his music: 'The dance element is where my heart is. Most of the songs are love-related, but I put the responsibility on myself to try to grab their ears again.'
The tour may be the perfect opportunity for Joe to reach a more adult audience. Joe's set would be more scaled back, focusing only on his solo material. Talks are in early stages. Joe's album expected to release late summer/ early fall.
