Fifth Harmony was mentored by Simon Cowell for X-Factor like One Direction. Ally told MTV: 'We're so grateful to be here. We were a newly formed group on the show. For us to have made it to the top three, it's such a blessing. We're in good spirits.' Camilla: 'We didn't even expect to make it to the finals. The fact that we're here is such a blessing and we're so happy.'
Fifth Harmony have signed a deal with Syco/ Sony just like One Direction. Thiis season's ratings declined, judge LA Reid is leaving and Britney Spears might be fired. One Direction is arguably most successful loser from any talent show. The last time an all-female group topped the Billboard albums charts was with Danity Kane in 2008. Harry Styles and Taylor skyped throughout the holidays to stay close. A source dished to The Sun: 'Harry and Taylor spoke online up to five times a day while they were apart. They got their families involved too, so it wasn’t just them locked inside their bedrooms for hours on end.
It was a good opportunity to familiarise their families as they were all together at Christmas.' Harry is reportedly in New York City right now, to care for Taylor after her New Year's Eve performance.
