Nickelodeon’s funny gals Jennette McCurdy (iCarly’s Sam Puckett) and Ariana Grande (Victorious’ Cat Valentine) are back as their iconic characters from iCarly and Victorious in the brand-new, spin-off comedy Sam & Cat, debuting Saturday, June 8, at 8 PM. (ET/PT).
Sam & Cat follows feisty Sam and flighty Cat as they become best friends and unlikely roommates who start a babysitting service. The series is created by award-winning executive producer Dan Schneider (iCarly, Victorious, Drake & Josh, Zoey 101).
'Sam & Cat is the perfect vehicle to showcase the amazing chemistry and comedic talents of Jennette and Ariana,' said Russell Hicks, President, Content Development and Production, Nickelodeon. 'Fans will love seeing two of their favorite Nick characters back in action in this wild and hilarious comedy.'

Ariana Grande, 'I Wake Up Crying'
Ariana Grande revealed to TWIST her feelings after her beloved Aunt Judy passed from cancer at a young age: 'When someone you love passes, it doesn't hit you right away. It hits you like a month later, and you'll wake up in the middle of the night crying. It's been five years since I lost my aunt and I still wake up crying just because it's so sad.
It was really scary. Seeing someone you love suffer is the most difficult thing in the world. But you just have to think that at least they're not struggling, thank God they're not in pain anymore and remember that their spirit will always be there, that's a blessing.'
Fan supported her after death: 'The best part about fame is that I have my back taken care of. I have the best fans in the world. They always have my back and I have theirs, too.'
Ariana Grande Judge Of The Voice KIDS?
Following the success of a kids version of the hit show The Voice in the likes of Germany, Holland and Finland, the US is considering doing their own kids version of The Voice. Ariana Grande told Digital Spy: 'I think it's a good idea because there are so many young talented artists out there. They have this incredible gift and don't really have a way to be heard.
But I also think it's hard to throw a little kid into an industry like this. I'm telling you, I'm almost 20 and I'm having a rough time with it myself!' Would you like to judge the kids version on The Voice? 'Yeah, of course I would. It would be the cutest ever and I would love that. It would be so hard to tell a kid no, so I would tell them all yes and put them through!'

Sam & Cat star Ariana Grande to omg! on Selena Gomez comparison: 'I don’t really see [the comparison]. We both started out in children’s television, I think we share that in common and we are both doing music.
But we are really nothing alike but if you look at us and compare our sounds we aren’t that much alike. She has been incredibly successful thus far in her career and I will feel lucky if I am just as successful.'
