then my permit expired. And then I failed my permit test when I retook
it.
I didn't know you had to stop before going right on red, so I just
swung around the corner.. then I made some bad joke about not needing
the defroster in California. I went back to the DMV after five minutes.'
On reality TV: 'I started watching The City which I think is better. But The Hills I don't really understand because I think everyone knows it is fake except for LC [Lauren Conrad] because she is the only one crying in every episode.
I feel bad I'm like, 'She is always crying and no one else is. Maybe she doesn't know it's fake. It's not how people in LA really live on The Hills. I would like to state that fact. They make us all look really bad. We're not all like that I
promise! We're better than that.'

Emma Roberts is hoping to attend college this fall. While promoting her new film Hotel for Dogs in New York City, she told the press, 'I really loved Sarah Lawrence and NYU. When I got to Sarah Lawrence or NYU, I could really see myself walking around here making friends.'
Em and her BFFs are also super busy filling out last-minute applications: 'Nobody has left the house for the past few weeks, because everyone's just trying to busy get their college applications done.'
On whether she'd take acting class: 'I'd be too nervous to take acting. Because I'd already worked, I'd feel like everyone would be like judging me. I would be too embarrassed to do a play.' Photo: Fame.
