Emma Watson has ended her two-year relationship with financier Jay Barrymore, reports Daily Mail. Emma, 19, has been spending time with Spanish musician and fellow Brown University student Rafael Cebrian since the split.
Emma and Rafael became close friends last November while Emma was still in a relationship with Jay, and since the split she has been heavily leaning on Rafael. A friend said the distance was a reason why Emma and Jay broke up:
'Emma has been spending a lot of time with Rafael and they are virtually inseparable.' Rafael persuaded Emma to take part in the upcoming Brown student production of Three Sisters.
'Rafael has been acting with them since he moved to the US, and he has got Emma involved. This is a new experience for Emma and she's a little nervous about her performance, but the play has already sold out. She's hoping it will be a critical success.'
Emma Watson Brown University Play Role

Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson will be performing in a student-directed production of Anton Chehkov's Three Sisters at Brown University, where she is a freshman. The event, which was announced on Facebook, has since been removed, according to Huffington Post.
The play is being produced by the school's Production Workshop, a non-profit student theater founded in 1960. Emma, with an ensemble cast of 13 other students, will perform six shows from March 11-15. Play admission is FREE!
