Taylor Swift Label Boss DEFENDS HER

Taylor Swift's performance at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards with Stevie Nicks was panned by publications including the Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post. The backlash caused Big Machine Records boss Scott Borchetta to respond [Via Tennessean]:
'The biggest message is (the critics) are not getting it. Because the facts say she is the undisputed best communicator that we've got. When she says something, when she sings something, when she feels something, it affects more people than anybody else.
Maybe she's not the best technical singer, but she's probably the best emotional singer because everybody else who gets up there and is technically perfect, people don't seem to want more of it. ..I think (the critics) are missing the whole voice of a generation that is happening right in front of them.
..She's an extraordinary songwriter and her vocal performances are getting better. Everybody is not perfect on any given day. If you pick any of those artists that performed (on the Grammy Awards) I'm sure you can go online and find something where you go, 'ew.' Maybe in that moment we didn't have the best night. But in the same breath, maybe we did.
And nobody is arguing with the awards. The critics are missing the bigger picture. This is what always happens and is the unfortunate part of the American dream, that we build these people up to watch the critics tear them down. Well, you better have more than what you've got now if you think you're going to get in the ring and fight with us. So, get in the ring.'
Jonas Bros Concert, NO Illegal Activities!

Jonas Brothers concert photographers in 2009 were required to sign a contract that they would not photograph any 'illegal activity'. According to the contract, acquired by The Smoking Gun, Jonas Brothers Touring, LLC bars..
..photographers from using images that 'involve illegal activity' that may be 'harmful or derogatory' to the band or concertgoers. According to the site, the possible nudity and drug use would be on the part of fans, not the virginal Jonas Brothers. Have YOU ever been involved in illegal activity at a JB concert?

International Disney Channel star Miley Cyrus will perform at Rock in Rio-Lisboa 2010, her first time in Portugal. Rock in Rio-Lisboa is a music and entertainment event for the whole family. Rock in Rio-Lisboa returns to Parque da Bela Vista on 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29 May 2010.
Nick J & Selena 'By Each Other's Side..'

On Tuesday, Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez dined Philippe restaurant in Beverly Hills with a large group in the private wine room. A source told E! News 'they were by each other's side the whole night.. It's young and they're just feeling things out. It is not at all as serious as Miley and Nick were. But she's a cool girl and he's having fun with her.' In other news, Selena is using Miley Cyrus' record producers Antonina Armato and Tim James on her next album.

Selena Gomez Myspace blog: Busy busy week coming up.. Sunday 2/7 fly to San Antonio for the Rodeo Show at AT&T Center. Wednesay 2/10 fly to Phoenix for KZZP Johnjay and Rich morning show. Thursday 2/11 fly to NY for Good Morning America performance and then an evening show at The Gramercy.
Friday 2/12 The Today Show, then to radio stations Z100, WXRK, and Sirius XM, then Jimmy Fallon in the evening. Saturday 2/13 fly to Boston to do radios WXKS and WPRO. Sunday 2/14 fly to Philadelphia to do radios WIOQ and then the Philly show at Tower Theater.
Tuesday 2/16 fly to my hometown Dallas to hang out with Kidd Kraddick morning show and Billy the Kidd on Kiss Fm in Dallas.
