'You put on your performance mode and professional mode but when you take it off, you're only 7 or only a dork. You're normal. I'm the same onstage and offstage. Sometimes I look at performances, like, 'Why can't you look that cool every day?'But, I wouldn't want to be a performer 24/7.'

Nick, 'Not About Fans Doing Crazy Things'

Nick Jonas rejects MTV's question about 'fans doing crazy things': 'It's just interesting to see it evolve. [Thursday] night's performance at the Beacon was an amazing moment. I was telling people after the show, you can really feel the legends in this place [Beacon] when you're on that stage. I played a new song that I wrote, 'Stay,' that the audience responded well to. It's just been amazing so far, but [Thursday] night was excellent.'
On crazy fans: 'It's not so much that kind of thing where they're doing crazy stuff. I think it's more about them listening to the music and really getting a feel for what I'm talking about in the songs, which is nice to see.'
On family support: 'No one that I was surprised to see came out to see me. I've got a couple friends in different places.. Texas and here in New York. I've got a lot of friends and family. It's just good to know there are people who are supporting me in this dream of mine and taking time out of their evening to come see this show.'
SIGHTING From Stacey: My cousin works as a bellboy in the Hyatt NYC on 42nd st. Today Nick is off from tour and my cousin texted me saying that he saw Nick Jonas, his bodyguard, and an unidentified girl going into the restaurant at the hotel. The couple was escorted to a private table no one else could see! This was around between 12 and 1 PM.
