John Mayer talked to Access Hollywood about Taylor: 'There’s something about Taylor that she would have been a star in any decade. Taylor’s like this fresh voice.. I don’t normally make records to share tracks with people.
I’ve never had somebody’s name underneath the title of my song and I couldn’t be happier that she’s on there. I consider her a friend. I think she’s a really remarkable person and it’ll be nice to have her name on the record for the rest of my life.
Taylor Swift is the last person to know she’s Taylor Swift, which I think is totally sweet. It’s almost like Taylor Swift is like a character in a movie about a small town girl who has her dreams come true and what any small time girl would do when their dreams come true is to freak out.
I still like it that she freaks out, but pretty soon she’s gonna have to stop because it’s sort of like, ‘You’re that good. You’re that good. You might have to go to therapy and have someone else tell you you’re that good.'

Miley Cyrus featured in the upcoming issue of SEVENTEEN. On fashion line: 'We look into fashion designs very much in advance. We started the plaid shirts and the cheetah pants before people started seeing it [on runways]. When you first look at it as a designer, you think Okay, this is going to be a little crazy. But you don't know what's going to be in in a year like Max [Azria] does. Max looks at other designers, and you know it's very advanced. He's got the inside scoop.'
On her sexy style: 'I don't like dressing up that much, even for dressy kinds of parties and stuff. I like being more casual. I would much rather come underdressed than overdressed.'
On moving: 'I think one day I'll live on Tybee [Island, where The Last Song was filmed]. That's where I see myself 10 years from now. I could see myself maybe wanting to just chill out and be somewhere like that. And that's where I feel at home, where I feel like my heart is.'
On Liam: 'So I heard a rumor that he didn't really want the role, and so when he came in to audition for the role, I'm thinking Here's this guy, he's amazingly good-looking, super-confident, and he doesn't realize how blessed he is to be in this room, because I know how blessed I am. This is such a big opportunity for both of us.
