Jamie Lynn Spears has called off her wedding to Casey Aldridge, the father of baby Maddie Briann, reports OK! Jamie has persistently denied that Casey is cheating on her and that she will marry him one day. The source dished:
'The wedding's off. They are still in love, living together and very happy, but they have no plans to get married. Jamie Lynn has everything she wants and feels no need for a ring and piece of paper.'
On her acting career being over: 'She has told friends and family she's never coming back to Hollywood. She feels that part of her life is over. Jamie Lynn enjoyed every minute of doing Zoey, but since she's had Maddie, her life
has changed completely.
She's happy being a real hands-on Southern mother and hopes to continue that for years to come with Casey right by her side. Jamie Lynn knows she needs to make a living when she grows older, so she's already discussing her career options with advisers. She wants Maddie to grow up in comfort.'

Jamie Lynn Spears 'has been quietly working on a country album since last fall,' a source close to the family confirmed to E! News. Although Jamie Lynn's only musical credit is singing the theme song to her Nickelodeon series, Zoey 101, that hasn't stopped Lynn from 'trying to get Jamie Lynn a record deal.'
Jamie recently recorded demo tracks in Nashville but hasn't landed a label yet. The sessions mark her first attempt to get back into the entertainment since she and fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed baby Maddie last June.
Jamie told AP in the past: 'I'll probably do a lot of acting first, then go to singing, but I am going to definitely sing someday. So when I do start singing, buy my album!' New video of Jamie, Lynn, Casey and Maddie leaving Britney Spears' hotel in New Orleans, where she opened her Circus tour.

Jamie Lynn Spears fears liposuction she had while pregnant could have caused long-term harm to baby Maddie, reports Star. The source revealed:
'Jamie Lynn had just finished her hit Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 when she found the weight piling on. Not realizing she was expecting, she pleaded with her mom, to let her get liposuction.
She didn't know she was pregnant when she filled out the health questionnaire prior to the procedure. Her mom approved the injections and went through tons of red tape to get the clinic to administer them to an underage patient.'
