iCarly SEASON FIVE GREENLIGHTED

Nickelodeon greenlit a fifth season of iCarly, reports Deadline. Nick has ordered 13 new episodes which will begin production in 2012 for a premiere later that year. The most recent episode of iCarly, iOMG, was viewed by 7.4 million last Saturday. iCarly is in the midst of a two-year pickup. Season 3 is currently airing, with production on Season 4 slated to begin in May.

'Generation Love' was released to to country radio today. Jennette's Generation Love For St. Jude tour will help raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Jennette has made it her mission to raise $100,000 for St. Judes.

From Marisol: I met Jennette McCurdy at the Grossmont Center in San Diego CA. She sang 4 or 5 songs of her country songs and if you wanted to meet her, you had to buy a $10 package that includes her picture, a 2 song demo CD and the wristband to get to meet her. All of the proceeds went to St. Jude's Hospital.
Security was waaayy to tight. They would not let me take any close pictures with her so I waited until everyone got an autograph & as she was leaving my friend's mom yelled 'Is this how you treat your fans? We waited 3 times in line to get a picture!' She turned around and said 'Who's your daughter?'
My friends mom pointed at me, even though I wasn't her daughter and I got a picture. She took a couple pictures with little kids too. She was really nice though to take a picture with me. I have a lot of respect for her. She's awesome!

From Rachel: Jennette MCurdy opened for Allstar Weekend at the Strawberry Festival in Florida on 3/12. She was really good and seemed the total opposite of her character on iCarly. Allstar Weekend were amazing!
