Miley, 'People Said I Have Cankles'

Miley Cyrus is featured in the new issue of People and they published an excerpt from Miles to Go: Like lots of girls my age, I can be self-conscious about my looks, but it was clear to me I'd much rather be healthy and normal-sized.
One morning in 2006, I couldn't get out of bed. I would like to say it was exhaustion or the pressure of new fame, but that truth was, I couldn't get out of bed because my skin looked awful.
In magazines I'd see this perfect airbrushed version of myself. Then I'd look in the mirror and see reality. Why would God do this to me? I know, I know, melodrama. A few zits don't exactly make me Job.
But cut me some slack. I really am a teenager. When I read online that people think I have 'cankles' [calf-ankles], I kind of had a fit. My dad said, 'That's okay, Honey. All the Cyrus women have cankles. You should be proud.' Thanks, Dad.

Radiohead have told Miley Cyrus to 'grow up', after she threatened to 'ruin them'. Miley told reporters how upset she was at the Grammys, when Radiohead declined to meet her at the event.
Miley previously stated that she is 'obsessed' with the band: 'This is the only person I would probably cry over. I would cry.'
In a statement to US weekly, Radiohead said: 'When Miley grows up, she'll learn not to have such a
sense of entitlement.'
Meanwhile, the band posted a message on their official website: 'Wish us all a safe journey if you still like us and you're not one of those people I have managed to offend by doing nothing.'

Miley Cyrus set the record straight with Extra on rumors she has a 'girl crush' on gorgeous actress Angelina Jolie. 'I don't have a girl crush on Angelina, but I definitely think she's super beautiful and anyone that says..
..she's not pretty is lying to you because she is gorgeous. She's really unique and never scared to step over the line and be crazy and be herself. I like that.'

Miley Cyrus Fan Club Lawsuit Settled, The Climb SKY Rockets UP Billlboard

Miley Cyrus' fan club members, MileyWorld.com, can get their memberships extended for free under a deal reached this week between the state Attorney General's Office and a Nashville company, reports Pittsburgh Live.
More than 700 people in Pennsylvania complained to Attorney General Tom Corbett's office after they paid to join the fan club in 2007, but didn't receive early access to concert tickets as advertised. The affected club members, 966 in all, will have their accounts at MileyWorld.com credited with an additional four months of free membership. The annual membership fee is $29.95.
AG rep: 'Those consumers weren't told that they never had a shot at tickets. We felt that was deception. The crux of our complaint was that it is important for consumers to get all the information up front.'
The offending company must pay $20,000 in penalties to the state and post a notice on the Web site saying: 'Purchase of a MileyWorld fan club membership does not guarantee access to tickets.'
Miley's single 'The Climb' landed No. 6 in its debut week, making it her highest-charting effort, surpassing the No. 9 peak of '7 Things' from July 2008. 'The Climb' debuts at No. 3 on the Hot Digital Songs chart.

Back at school in Tennessee, Miley Cyrus would get teased to tears and girls spread rumors that she was a snob because her dad was a famous country singer. Miley spilled to BOP:
'They would say, 'Oh, she things she's better than us.' But I didn't! I just
wanted to fit in. I never understood why people want to hurt other people!'
Now Miley doesn't let the rumors get her down: 'There will always be people
that we call haters. It's all just insecurity. It's just them having a hard time with themselves. Now I have the confidence to be like, 'Hey I don't believe in that and I think it's not cool.''
Miley Tonight Show With Jay Leno Mercedes Outdoor Concert Series

Miley Cyrus will make a live appearance at 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno's Mercedes-Benz Outdoor Concert Series' on April 3. Kelly Clarkson and Fall Out Boy have also joined the star-studded lineup in the coming weeks.
The concert series, held outside NBC Studio midway in Burbank, kicked off March 2 with a live appearance from The Fray.
