Hopefully her skin is okay.. More pix HERE! Miley Cyrus Is Hipper & More Liberal Than You. Oh, And She Hates Rick Santorum. Miley Cyrus' Hannah Montana is one of the easier Disney shows for adults to sit through. Her voice & wide eyes aren't totally unlike a young Lucille Ball.
Still, that might not be enough to make an adult investigate her music. But her surprisingly not-overplayed catalogue contains some of best & most surprising pop of the last decade. It's unpretentious, well-sung and startlingly tasteful.
She's not self-righteous, and she's usually not trying to seduce the listener like so many other nymphets. Oh, and her political views are startlingly cogent; she hated Rick Santorum before he almost won Iowa. We love thee, Miley Cyrus; let us count the ways. She smokes weed and supports Occupy Wall Street.
At only 16, this walking franchise recorded 'Wake Up America,' a freaking global warming song: 'I know that you don't want to hear it/ Especially coming from someone so young.' Needless to say, it's a lot smarter than the gum-snapping Britney Spears who supported George W. Bush in Fahrenheit 9/11.
Cyrus' biggest public snafus are for smoking a shit ton of weed (for her 19th birthday, she got a Bob Marley cake) and supporting OWS. Please let me know when these become actual bad things. Full article HERE!

Miranda Cosgrove Studying @ USC Fall

Miranda Cosgrove was accepted to NYU and USC but deferred her acceptance for a year, but she revealed that she'll attend USC in the fall: 'I deferred for a year, but I’m going to USC in the fall. I have a friend that actually went to USC and got to keep acting at the same time, and she goes back when she’s not filming, so that would be my ultimate dream. That’s what I really want to do.'
Will she join a sorority: 'I don’t know! I can’t see myself in a sorority. I don’t know if I’m going to get there and go crazy and want to be in one [laughs]. It seems fun though. You make a lot of friends and meet new people.'
New Year's Eve plans? 'I never make plans for New Year’s Eve! And I always do something random that comes up that day. My friends will go to a party or like one year I watched the ball drop in New York, and that was probably the coolest thing I’ve done. But I usually just wait it out.'

Miranda Cosgrove in Nylon: Can you tell them what iCarly is about? Yeah, sure. Basically, she lives in Seattle, and she lives with her older brother ‘cause her dad’s in the military. They never mention her mom, don’t really know what’s going on there. Kids always ask me that and I’m like, 'I don’t know!''
She lives with her brother and he’s kind of like a big kid in a way, I mean, he’s serious sometimes, but for the most part, he’s kind of like a big kid, and she’s sort of like his parent.
Memorable episode or scene? It’s weird because we all kind of grew up on the show, and there’s a whole love triangle thing between my character and my friends Sam [a girl] and Freddie [a boy]. It’s kind of funny, because we both had to kiss Nathan [Kress], who plays Freddie, and that’s just kind of weird for us..
Because we’ve all known each other for so long.. but there’s an episode called I Saved Your Life where Freddie kind of saves Carly’s life, and she ends up liking him. That was a fun episode to do. That was probably the most memorable.
Miranda Cosgrove CAR ACCIDENT

Miranda Cosgrove suffered a broken ankle in a tour bus crash on Interstate 70 in Vandalia, Illinois. Miranda's bus hit an overturned semi truck. A total of seven injuries were reported in the crash, including one person who was airlifted from the scene to a trauma center. Miranda's 'Dancing Crazy Summer Tour' has been temporarily postponed.
