How is your visit to New York been? I love New York. It just reminds me of so many movies.. I look up at buildings, and feel like Godzilla should be climbing up them or something. I've tried to get out and see it a bit, I went out last night to a sushi place and they served me sushi on an oar!

On growing up in Australia: I grew up close to Melbourne, about two hours outside, on Phillip Island. It's really small, it's kind of a little summer beach town. I spent a lot of time surfing with my brothers, Chris and Luke.

On acting: I've been acting for about two-and-half or three years. I grew up watching Chris and Luke do it--then in high school I started taking it seriously, got an agent, and did some Australian TV, like the show Neighbours, for a little while.

Have you seen The Last Song? Yeah, a few weeks ago. I think it's great, I'm really proud of it. I'll have to watch it again though, because I spent the whole time basically just critiquing myself. I had a lot of fun filming it. Who is your celebrity crush? Ummm.. Will Ferrell.

I still like it that she freaks out, but pretty soon she’s gonna have to stop because it’s sort of like, ‘You’re that good. You’re that good. You might have to go to therapy and have someone else tell you you’re that good.'
