Zayn Malik's sister has reportedly been ordered to stop selling unofficial One Direction merchandise. Psychology student Doniya Malik was making money selling handmade items online that used the band's logo, reports The Sun.
However, she did not have permission to use the copyrighted image, and was apparently forced to delete her Sparkle Rock Chick site after being contacted by the band's management: 'Doniya had no idea she was doing anything wrong. She was mortified when she heard it was a problem and took the site down immediately.'
Via Tumblr. Sam Claflin Tweeted: 'Don’t beat yourselves up or get angry at me please. I try the best I can. Nobody’s perfect.. Except maybe Harry Styles, right? x'
Harry Styles stunned a fan, Alice Cousins who looks just like his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, by sending her a birthday card on Twitter. The card read: Hope you have a really lovely day. Have fun. It was Cousins' 21st birthday.
'You've literally made my birthday day. Shaking like a leaf,' tweeted Cousins. Fellow fans were so jealous that they bombarded her with abuse. One wrote to Styles, 'When it was my birthday, I tried so damn hard for you to tweet me'.
Two huge One Direction Hannah and Louisa claim they thought they had won a 'meet and greet' with the boyband via Radio 1, but were then told they would NOT get to meet 1D, reports The Mirror. The girls were upset when their seats at the Belfast’s Odyssey Arena show were not on the front row.
'We were so excited when we won, we are both massive fans of the band and especially Harry Styles. We heard the competition for tickets being advertised on Radio 1 so I phoned up and got through. It was specifically stated by Radio 1 DJ Gemma Cairney that the prize offered the opportunity to meet and greet the One Direction boys themselves.
I went live on air and correctly answered questions about which cities in Britain One Direction were playing. But the seats were nothing special at all and we were a long way from the front. I really thought I’d won something special.'
They paid £350 out of their own pockets to fly to Belfast for the concert and an overnight hotel stay. BBC spokesperson said: 'The error in which a Radio 1 DJ mistakenly referred to the prize as a 'meet and greet' was corrected on air and the nature of the prize was clearly communicated throughout the day. The winners of the competition were told in advance that a meet and greet was not part of this prize.'
