Selena Gomez 'Britney Spears Evolution'
Selena Gomez credit Britney Spears as an inspiration behind her upcoming Stars Dance World Tour and last month's Movie Awards performance, claiming that 'I'm a Slave 4 U' was her favorite performance of any awards show.
Following Sel's performance, Brit tweeted, 'Wow @SelenaGomez.. 'Come & Get It' on the #mtvmovieawards was incredible! One of my favorite songs out there right now! And thank you for all of the kind words about the VMA Slave performance ..you're too sweet! Means a lot to me.'
Sel: 'It was actually the second time that she tweeted me.. I died the first time. I didn't believe it at first, but it was really sweet, because even with the inspirations through the outfits and the performances, she's a huge inspiration when it comes to performing. 'Selena said she would be 'terrified' to talk to Spears.
Spears released her jaw-dropping video for 'I'm a Slave 4 U,' shedding her good-girl image for a more sexy look, which, also at the age of 20, is exactly what Gomez is doing with 'Come & Get It.'
Selena: 'I think she's one of the best that made that transition. That video ["Slave 4 U"] is so hot, it's incredible, so I love that, and I definitely wanted to do that with my transition, but I don't think there's a path you have to follow. The song 'Love Will Remember' off her upcoming album "Stars Dance,' is a break-up song to Bieby. It leaves the listener 'with the sense that it may not have been her idea to end things, or that it might have been hers, but it was because he left her no choice.'
Selena: 'It's sweet. It’s not an aggressive approach to what people are probably expecting. I’m sure he’ll love it too.' Will they get back together: 'You can’t help who you date. So I wouldn’t swear off that or say that’s what I want again. I have to go through the emotions and feel it out. I’m doing my own thing, being with my friends, and he’s doing very well too.'

Talk about a crossroads: Selena Gomez is going through a transition in every element of her superstar life. 1. HER #1 PRIORITY AT THIS MOMENT: PUSHING BOUNDARIES Just shy of her 21st birthday (on July 22), Gomez is actively stirring the pot a little as she seeks bold life and career changes. 'This is a weird transition for me,' she says. 'I want to keep pushing myself so I never feel settled. I don’t really know if it’s going to end up working. I’m stressed out most of the time.'
Gomez would like to eventually say so long to music to concentrate solely on acting. She imagines a career modeled on stars like Shia LaBeouf, Jennifer Lawrence & Natalie Portman, actors who are continually reinventing themselves, she says. (LaBeouf, she is quick to point out, also started on Disney Channel. Gomez starred for five years on megahit series Wizards of Waverly Place.)
David Beckham Listens To Selena & Jonas

He told The Sun: We were looking through his play-list in the dressing room, there was lots of JUSTIN BIEBER, JONAS BROTHERS and SELENA GOMEZ. Producer, 'Selena Gomez Was Perfect'
Nicolas Lopez on how Selena Gomez came to film cameo on Aftershock: I heard this story that Selena Gomez was basically just in town and you knew her and she just happened to come by?
'It's crazy. It's like, we were shooting and Eli knew her and she was a big fan of 'Hostel,' and suddenly she was doing a concert in Santiago and we were like, 'Why don't you come by to the set and you get to hang with us, you know?' She came, and she had a good time. T
hen, we were like, 'You know what? Selena has to be in the movie.' So we wrote a little part for her, and we were shooting the VIP scene that happens in the movie. We had that set for two days, so she came on the first day, and on the second day she was shooting.
She did the concert and she came right from the concert to the stage and it was awesome, especially because we did everything in like one take. She was perfect, and her comic timing is perfect. I was like, "You know what? We should make a comedy.'
Selena & Bieber American Idol Judges?
American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe is to boost the American Idol's ratings with and wants stars Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Pink and Sean 'Diddy' Combs as judges, reports RADAR. Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban and Randy Jackson will possibly not be returning for season 13.
'It’s been a lackluster season for Idol and everyone involved with the show is well aware of it so that’s why producers are franticly working on lining up big name stars for season 14. There’s more drama going on behind the scenes of the show than on the stage, and that’s why there’s a major overhaul in the works.
A telling sign was the highlight of the season was Mariah and Nicki’s explosive feud that was leaked on the web, and that was before the season even aired. Producers have been trying to recreate that buzz ever since and it hasn’t worked, the public isn’t buying it. The judges don’t have real chemistry, and there’s no real standout contestant.
That’s why they want to go big next season, you can’t get any bigger than Justin Bieber. The executives are calling it their dream team because who wouldn’t tune in to see Justin and Selena, Pink and Diddy? Pink has been approached in the past and turned it down as well as Diddy, who wanted too much money.
It will cost a fortune to get them, but the show has gotten so stale that Fox is desperate for a revamp, they’re willing to pay to put Idol back on top. Idol is not the water cooler show it used to be, it’s not hip and become really boring.
If producers have it their way, Justin, Selena, Pink and Diddy will be sitting at the judges table next season and that’s a powerhouse group and everyone would tune in to see.'
