LAWSUIT UPDATE: Selena's lawyer told TMZ, the lawsuit is without merit, adding, 'Any claim that Selena did not meet her promotional obligations is ridiculous, manufactured after Adrenalina was terminated.
Selena will vigorously defend this lawsuit, and will soon bring her own lawsuit against Adrenalina for millions in damages.' Adrenalina Inc. claims it made a deal with Selena in which the company would develop fragrance products using her name. The company says it did tons of R & D, spending more than $2 million in marketing alone.
The company claims Selena and her agent concocted reasons to end the relationship, leaving Adrenalina without a spokesperson. Selena allegedly refused to show up for promotions and it screwed with the company. Adrenalina is suing for damages and wants a court order preventing her from pulling out of deal.
