Shailene Woodley Divergent Movie Role

Shailene Woodley is in talks to play Mary Jane role in The Amazing Spider-Man sequel and to play the female lead in Divergent, the Veronica Roth novel that will be directed by Neil Burger for Summit Entertainment, reports Deadline.
The book is compared to Hunger Games because of the age of the characters and the violence that takes place in a futuristic setting. This tale takes place in a futuristic dystopia where society is divided into factions based on human traits.
A 16-year-old leaves her faction to join a rival one, but during the violent initiation she falls in love with a young man and they try to find their place in this rough world.
Shailene Woodley Spider-Man Movie Role

Shailene Woodley has been offered the role of Mary Jane Watson in 'Amazing Spider-Man' sequel, reports THR. The role was previously played by Kirsten Dunst in the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy. Columbia just closed deals with Marc Webb to return to the director’s chair after this summer’s web-head reboot, Amazing Spider-Man, grossed $752 million worldwide.
Andrew Garfield will reprise the title role and Emma Stone to return as Gwen Stacy. The stage is now set for an angst-filled love triangle. The Secret Life Of The American Teenager eenager was canceled earlier this week and will return for the final episodes of the season in March 2013.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager has been canceled, reports TV Guide Its current fifth season will be its last, with the final 12 episodes airing in March 2013. The ABC Family series debuted in 2008, averaging 3.51 million viewers in its first season. The first half of Season 5 saw record lows, With only 1.06 million
tuning in for the Aug. 13 episode, while 1.54 tuned in for the midseason finale on Aug. 27. ABC Family also axed Jane by Design this summer, while Switched at Birth, Melissa & Joey, Baby Daddy and Pretty Little Liars were all renewed. The network also ordered additional episodes of Bunheads.
