Shia LaBeouf explained on Chelsea Lately how he got his role in director Lars Von Trier's forthcoming movie Nymphomaniac. Chelsea was interested in LaBeouf's claims that he may actually be having sex on camera for the film.
LaBeouf admitted he's not 100% sure what will happen, but anything is possible. 'I don’t know what it’s gonna be until I get out there, I know he’s a very dangerous director and I know we’re trying to do something different.. I sent videotapes of me and my girlfriend having sex and that’s how I got the job.'

Shia LaBeouf has now sworn off franchise films to focus on the indie world. He will now star in Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac, which follows the erotic events in the life of a woman (Charlotte Gainsbourg) from her youth to age 50. Shia will star alongside Stellan Skarsgard and revealed von Trier has no plans to 'simulate' the sex happening in the film, he wants real sex filmed.
Shia: 'It is what you think it is. There’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we’re doing [the sex] for real. And anything that is ‘illegal’ will be shot in blurred images. But other than that, everything is happening.'
