Charlie Puth Wrote A Song That The Whole World Will SingCharlie Puth was waking up in London when he heard about winning two awards at last night’s Billboard Music Awards. His collaboration with Wiz Khalifa on “See You Again” took home the award for both Top Hot 100 Song and Top Rap Song. Charlie went on to tweet about making his mom proud, and he may have hinted at new music in the process.

The singer recalled his mom telling him to “write a song the whole world will sing,” which was seemingly accomplished with “See You Again.” Charlie followed up with an elusive comment about his next song. His tweet reads like a promise for a new song that is sure to take off like his first, but it’s still unclear.

The Weeknd Apologizes For Big-Time Billboard Music Awards Flub

The WeekndThe Weeknd won big at last night’s 2016 Billboard Music Awards, but he jumped the gun celebrating his accomplishment. The artist tweeted out an incorrect message about how winning those eight awards was “more than any male artist in history.”

He clearly forgot about Usher winning 14 Billboard Music Awards in 2004, but he was swiftly reminded. The Weeknd owned up to his mistake by tweeting out an apology to Usher, the “OG” record breaker.

DNCE Gets A “New Band Member”

DNCE Finally Passes A First Grade Spelling Test With Its Newest MemberDNCE attended and performed at last night’s 2016 Billboard Music Awards. While on the event’s pink carpet, the band posed with who its calling the newest member of DNCE—Ariana Grande. Ariana may the perfect choice, because the “A” in her name makes DNCE become a real word.

Clearly the members of DNCE aren’t serious, but at the very least they’re aware of everyone’s confusion regarding the group’s name.

Was Meghan Trainor Destined To Repeat Her Stage Fall At The BBMAs?

Meghan Trainor knew about the fallon fallBefore taking the stage to perform her single “No,” Meghan Trainor walked the Billboard Music Awards pink carpet where she revealed she was actually pretty nervous to perform. “As you probably saw, I fell on ‘Fallon,'” the singer said about her stage fall two weeks ago.

While speaking with E! News, Meghan admitted that she had the chance to broadcast a much different performance. “I was like, ‘Yeah, I’ll do it again. I’m so sorry I fell,” she said. “I got up and I watched both performances and I was like, ‘Dude, the first one was better. Let’s just keep it!'”

Despite the fall, the singer was sure to put on a much more stable performance for the BBMAs. “They’re like, ‘You can go down all the stairs and walk through the crowd?’ I’m like, ‘Uh huh! We’re doing it, and it’s gonna be great. I have boots on that are comfy. We won’t fall,'” she said.

Demi Lovato Really Likes Her BBMAs Shirt And Thinks Everyone Else Should Too

Demi lovato likes her bbma shirt-2Everyone seemed to think the gender-inclusive t-shirt Demi Lovato wore during her 2016 Billboard Music Awards performance was awesome and the singer is no different.

If you missed last night’s performance, Demi showed her support for the transgender community by wearing a black mesh shirt with an inclusive bathroom icon emblazoned on the front. The singer patted herself on the back and “liked” Huffington Post’s tweet which called her shirt “kickass.”
