Remember when left shark stole the show during Katy Perry’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performance? Well, it’s happened again. Another backup dancer has been the focus of one of Katy’s major performances. This time, the guilty party wasn’t a dancing shark–it was a falling house.
Katy and Skip Marley were just wrapping a politically charged performance of their track “Chained To The Rhythm” when the house went down. Katy started solo on stage with rows of white houses for the song. As the song progressed, it was revealed that each house contained a performer who danced along to the infectious tune.
Katy and Skip were center stage, flanked by giant skeleton puppets dressed to look like President Donald Trump and the U.K.’s Prime Minister Theresa May, when one of the houses demolished itself. It was apparently hard to see from inside the homes’ frosted windows, as one of the dancers walked right off the stage and hit a barricade along the way to the floor.
Check out a video of Katy and Skip’s performance below. Keep a sharp eye out on the right side of the screen around the 3:50 mark for the falling house.
