The boys of 5 Seconds of Summer remembered they have a job and released a new single. Their return seems to have aided in other memory lapses, like realizing they never thanked the one and only Liam Payne for buying (illegally) Calum Hood and Michael Clifford’s first tattoos five years ago.
After making fans wait two years, 5 Seconds of Summer is back. The Aussie boy group has released its new single called “Want You Back.” And we’re not sure how we should feel about it.
Demi Lovato has had a couple days off from her ongoing “Honda Civic Tour: Future Now” with Nick Jonas. She took the chance to catch someone else on stage during her downtime on Sunday night.
Demi uploaded a photo to her Snapchat from backstage at a 5 Seconds of Summer concert. A few fans in the front of the show even snapped shots of her off the side of the stage. Demi looks like she knows some of the words to a 5SOS song in a video she took.
No one knows why Demi was at the show. Some 5SOS fans who are fed up with Arzaylea might be excited at the prospect of Demi being a less divisive girlfriend for one of the boys in the band. But she normally dates older guys, so maybe she’s just a big fan.
Check out Demi’s snap, some fan photos of her in the wings and a couple of tweets about seeing her there below. Plus, check out the video of Demi singing along backstage.

Earlier today, 5 Seconds of Summer were the latest band to appear on Good Morning America’s “Summer Concert Series.” The group performed in front of a large crowd, and the fans were anything but quiet.
Before the group took the stage, they answered a few questions about the inspiration behind “She’s Kinda Hot” and revealed that Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden and Joel Madden had a hand in the creation of the song. Michael Clifford also discussed the moment he decided to open up about his struggles with his mental health issues saying, “I think it was taken a little out of context.” Michael quickly changed the sensitive topic and got the crowd pumped up about the show.
The Australian band started the show with their current single, “She’s Kinda Hot,” before singing “What I Like About You”.
We have few videos from the 5SoS performance on GMA below.
